  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

He (I believe his name is the Frogman) actually posted this to reddit and used imgur because his site was being blocked by reddit. Karma decay didn't pick it up but I do remember reading his comment when he first posted this about two weeks ago.

    How is this not getting him traffic? I discovered Frogman through reddit because he kept popping up. If you read through the rest of the comments you can see that his blog gets linked several times. If anything, this generates more traffic for him. Plus I am pretty sure his blog would be marked as spam if it was directly linked to reddit.

    Ha, touché. I was thinking more along the lines of clicking a link since people are so lazy. Kind of like on tumblr if you source the image and someone clicks it it links you to the source directly.

            In TLA-verse, pretty much all animals (save for one, deemed "weird"), are combinations of two animals. Momo is a flying lemur (probably part-bat?), Appa is a flying bison (part...I have no idea, flying whale?), there's also reptilebirds, buzzardwasps, penguinotters, etc.

            Pabu isn't just a ferret he's a fire ferret, combination fire and ferret. One would postulate that it's because the animals are indigenous to the Fire Nation, but one would also postulate that the Fire Nation is like an analogy to militant communist China, where red pandas are also indigenous (areas around Tibet, Himalayas etc.) Red Pandas are also referred to as "Firefoxes" (which is why the Firefox browser mascot is, or was, a Red Panda).

            So, in short, a "Fire Ferret" is a Fire National indigenous critter that is a combination of the animals we know as a red panda and a ferret. And an adorable one he is.

              It's as simple as not caring. If its funny to me, I chuckle. If its unpopular (most of my friends loathe Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell, I think its hilarious) or popular (poof hair kid), who cares? Laugh if you think its funny, move on if you don't.

                New Futurama isn't very good! There, I said it! I fucking said it. Occasionally you get a decent episode, but the soul of the show is just gone. Sci-fi-stylized pop culture references are now just pop culture references, the word play is almost non-existent, the character's personalities seem to have been re-written as generic stereotypes. I can't even bring myself to sit through the latest episode! It's just too much bland sitcom comedy.

                            Spamposting, he was posting only his content, asking his people on tumblr to post his content to all relevant subreddits. He fit the bill for spammer, and was dealt with accordingly so. Then he went on a bitch fit, had more people than ever posting his stuff, wouldn't take the compromise the mods offered him, and continued to whine and cry until they unbanned him just to shut him up.

                            He subsists completely on ad-rev, and informs his fans to upvote his content (or at least he was doing that, haven't looked at his site in a long, long time). Also, the sockpuppets!

                            Edit: I dislike his content, but I respect him and wish him the best as a person. I'd actually really enjoy having the chance to have a drink or two with him and learn more about his creative process. He seems like a top-notch dude, I just don't like seeing him on the frontpage of every relevant subreddit. lol.

                            I've been following him for a while now and haven't seen him ever ask people to upvote his content.

                            I would complain if I got banned to. He creates original content and links back to his site, it seems weird that that would be considered 'spam'. To me spam would be someone that steals or rehosts content on a blog just for ad revenue.

                            If we start banning anyone that links to their original content on their own site people will stop posting original content.

                            You can post your original content, but when that's all you post 10+ times per day it falls under the spam radar. He was asking people in the comments on his site, as well as on here in comments to post his content to all relevant subreddits for him. Currently there is over 5 frontpage posts of Frogman posted by users that are not him.

                            Spam is handled very delicately here, I frequently assist with /r/reportthespammers and have gotten a good bead on what does, or does not constitute as spam.

                            I dislike him personally, for the triade of messages to admins/modmins about his lost revenue and how his chronic fatigue syndrome won't allow him to do anything else but earn money from his website, and the only way he can earn said money is by posting everything daily on reddit. However, I normally ignore it, downvote, and move on. If reddit enjoys him, and he's following his rules that mods put on him, then I have no problems with just ignoring his content and wishing him the best in his pursuits.
