Holy Hell... It's mesmerizing.

EDIT: auto corrected to memorizing.

[–]GamerKT 22 points23 points ago

Mesmerizing.

[–]Rswany 13 points14 points ago

Damnit autocorrect.

That's what I get for not reading over my comment before I post it.

[–]EricFaust 7 points8 points ago

Sorry, off topic:

Aperture Laboratories how?

[–]Rswany 14 points15 points ago

You get custom flair for submitting GIFs that are original content [OC].

If they get enough upvotes, at least.

[–]EricFaust 6 points7 points ago

Huh. Didn't know that. Thanks for your quick response.

[–]PhreaksChinstrap 1 point2 points ago

What did you submit?

[–]blueasclepius 1 point2 points ago

Um. Check the link karma on the lady/fellow. I started trying to find what they submitted for you before looking, which was a huge mistake.

[–]ironcoffin 0 points1 point ago

Get's even better when the guy is spinning around in the field.

[–]Mrthatoneguy 10 points11 points ago

I will never get tired of this.

This is perfect

[–]curt_schilli 4 points5 points ago

I expected that to not work at all but I was pleasantly surprised when it did.

[–]nordegrafgaming 0 points1 point ago

I can't help but wonder how people get these, is it a stroke of luck they're listening to the song when they see the gif? or do they see the gif and frantically shuffle through their music player playlist looking for a song that matches it?

[–]jewson 6 points7 points ago

All they need to know is the bpm and just find a song with the same bpm to it, which in this case was 126.

[–]nordegrafgaming 4 points5 points ago

Ah I see, thanks for informing me.

Have an upvote for your trouble

[–]pistonhonda 6 points7 points ago

So, YTMND but less cool?

[–]GhostsofDogma 1 point2 points ago

I'm not sure when the heck reddit switched from YTMND to this crap but it's really weird.

[–]KeeseSlayer 3 points4 points ago

I cant believe that beat matches it perfectly, god I love the internet.

[–]cojafoji 1 point2 points ago

1983 was a good year, and also, awesome mashup.

[–]PatAunces 5 points6 points ago

So instead of posting it here, you linked to a submission so you could get link karma?

[–]theymightbehobbits 42 points43 points ago

Don't be cussing so motherfucking much. My moms don't like that shit.

[–]The_cynical_panther 31 points32 points ago

OP's mom gasps in astonishment "The fuck did you just say?"

[–]SoloWingPixy 13 points14 points ago

His mothers...

[–]theymightbehobbits 12 points13 points ago

If you read it in Ice Cube's voice, it will become clearer that there is only one mother involved.

[–]CyanideCloud 2 points3 points ago

I read it in CJ's voice.

[–]DevilMirage 33 points34 points ago

Why is fez wearing a pearl necklace?

[–]wicked_ash 51 points52 points ago

It was a Halloween ep and he was dressed as Dr Frank N Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

[–]evanvolm 4 points5 points ago

I just watched this episode the other day, oddly.

[–]stasguy 53 points54 points ago

[–]edisleado 15 points16 points ago

For many years, I've wondered from where that GIF originated from, and to this day... I still don't know.

[–]stasguy 30 points31 points ago

[–]LlamaswithMachetes 12 points13 points ago

And knowing is half the battle.

[–]aerikson 1 point2 points ago

Go Joe.

(Seriously, this took 10 hours to finish? The fuck, reddit?)

[–]divinesleeper 9 points10 points ago

[–]scdozer435 4 points5 points ago

This is genuinely disturbing.

[–]asldkfououhe 28 points29 points ago

i wish i looked like mila kunis

[–]shokker 46 points47 points ago

I wish you looked like mila kunis, too.

[–]Ken_ny 29 points30 points ago

I just generally wish more people looked like Mila Kunis.

[–]funkyzeit 3 points4 points ago

I wish Mila Kunis would look like me.

[–]Swazland 6 points7 points ago

I just finished watching the final episode of that 70's show today, got over the fact that there are not more to see, and then this.

[–]BaconBuddy 16 points17 points ago

SOMEONE FEELS HOW I FEEL.

I had a friend over last night, and we were watching TV with my mom on the couch. We were talking about this time we went to a club, as twentysomethings do, but she's talking about how dudes would give her heroin and she thought it was MDMA. I wasn't aware of this at all; but, of course, since I was in the same massive room, parent-logic dictates that I was drinking it out of a fire hose.

My mom pokerface'd, formulating a most uncomfortable talk plan for her grown child. All I could manage to say, mortified, is "... you can eat heroin?"

Fuck people who can't act like angels around my parents. They rightfully judge me by the company I keep.

[–]GhostsofDogma 2 points3 points ago

Seriously though, you can eat heroin?

[–]BaconBuddy 0 points1 point ago

Apparently...

[–]redditchao999 6 points7 points ago

The same thing happened when a German exchange student dropped an F-Bomb in front of a teacher, and then looked around and asked why everyone was staring at him slackjawed. Turns out profanity isn't as big of a deal in Germany.

[–]juspeter 11 points12 points ago

I guess it depends on how the bomb is dropped.

As an adult in my mid twenties, most of the time my friends' parents will drop profanity because they don't feel the need to shelter us from it anymore, so conversations are free to move with "shit" and "fuck" as long as they're used within context.

I guess if someone were to yell "FUCK!" or "FUCK YOU!" in front of my parents, then it would get everyone's attention. Otherwise, it's harmless.

[–]robert_cat 12 points13 points ago

Yes but your parents are not everyone else's parents. I'm 24 and my parents still flip their shit when I say the word "sucks". As in "that sucks."

These people exist. XD

[–]juspeter 3 points4 points ago

No, I get it. I'm just supplying a separate perspective since it seems a lot of people don't come from the same background.

[–]Ostmeistro -1 points0 points ago

No shit. Imagine reading this being from a non-fanatic land.

[–]mr-peabody 0 points1 point ago

[–]liberterrorism 5 points6 points ago

Ha! OP's parents are squares.

[–]Milhouse_is_a_meme 73 points74 points ago

Sometimes I forget Reddit has children on it.

[–]spartacus- 35 points36 points ago

Or you know, people who actually hold polite conversation with their families.

[–]RMcD94 17 points18 points ago

Polite and swearing are not mutually exclusive.

You can be polite and swear and you can be impolite and not swear.

"YOUR COOKING IS TERRIBLE AND DISGUSTING, I'M GOING TO HAVE TO CUT MY TONGUE OFF THEN SET IT ON FIRE AND DRINK SO MANY LITRES OF ALCOHOL THAT I WILL BRAIN DAMAGE MYSELF TO HOPE I CAN FORGET THE MEMORY OF THAT"

And

"Wow, this is fucking brilliant, Mrs S, great cooking."

[–]spartacus- 13 points14 points ago

Depends on where you're from I guess. Both of those would be considered impolite in my family.

[–]thedeadlyrhythm 15 points16 points ago

i think it moreso depends on whether your parents are uptight or not

[–]AdrianBrony 3 points4 points ago

Depends, lots of people consider profanity in the wrong situation as disrespectful.

It would be like sitting down to dinner with a dirty beard, an old unwashed ripped shirt, shorts, and bed hair, only to a lesser degree.

[–]Anonymous_Bosch 3 points4 points ago

Americans still have a Puritan streak running through them.

[–]DMitri221 3 points4 points ago

Your family is hypersensitive to inconsequential things.

[–]AdrianBrony 1 point2 points ago

Sometimes it is more about perceived lack of respect than actually being shocked.

[–]goodbetterbestbested 1 point2 points ago

The perception of a lack of respect comes from hypersensitivity to inconsequential things...

[–]AdrianBrony -2 points-1 points ago

Not always, sometimes it is about self control and tact.

[–]goodbetterbestbested 0 points1 point ago

Why does cursing imply a lack of self-control or tact in this situation? Because the parents are sensitive about inconsequential use of language.

[–]AdrianBrony 0 points1 point ago

No, because they figure if you can't be bothered with being selective with your language for even the first polite conversation, then you don't see them as worth caring about.

I know lots of people who don't mind language one bit, but you better not swear around them in certain situations where they choose to not swear.

[–]Milhouse_is_a_meme 18 points19 points ago

OP was at a friends house, having dinner with the parents.

Just taking a wild stab in the dark.

Once people move away from home after high school, you rarely see their parents. Unless it's that guy I know who still lives at his mums house and eats pop tarts for dinner.

But I don't visit him anymore.

And maybe it's because I'm Australian, but swearing in front of an adult isn't really a big deal when you're an adult.

What you said could still apply, but I'm saying OP is 14.

[–]Freakazo 1 point2 points ago

Yeah but remember you Aussies curse fuckloads more than atleast us South Africans do. I distinctly remember being quite intrigued by it.

Also, the very first question I got asked by an Aussie student on my first day at school in Australia was:
"Are you a virgin‽"

It was a bit of a culture shock.

[–]Ostmeistro -2 points-1 points ago

I have polite conversations with my parents all the fucking time. Who the fuck are you judging my family for electing to sometimes express ourselves with a strife word?

[–]Gimli_The_Dwarf 10 points11 points ago

I may be doing this parenting thing wrong.

Me: "Caramel Bugles are like the best snack ever"
lil' Ms. Gimli: "Except I don't like caramel"
Me: "Oh. Well fuck you then."

[–]Requiiem 19 points20 points ago

I don't care how old you are, don't use foul language in the presence of your friends' mothers.

[–]Vitalstatistix 8 points9 points ago

Depends how well you know the friend and the parents IMO. Once you get to a certain point it doesn't really matter because they're less like parents and more like friends.

[–]turtal46 2 points3 points ago

Fuck that.

[–]Anonymous_Bosch 2 points3 points ago

Swearing is commonplace in Irish conversation. Nobody is offended by swear words. If you rarely use the word fuck you make it taboo; when it pops up people will be surprised.

[–]TheyCallMeTalex 2 points3 points ago

Why protect mothers? Why not fathers? Seems old-world and misogynistic to me, with a guise of chivalry.

[–]GhostsofDogma 1 point2 points ago

Men are generally more accepting of swearing. Sure, maybe women are less so because they're trained to be by society, but it's a bit much to call that misogynistic.

[–]TheyCallMeTalex 0 points1 point ago

I understand that generalization, sure; I can definitely think of people in my life that would make a similar point. Do you think that at some level it's sexist? If you don't, why do you feel that way?

[–]GhostsofDogma 1 point2 points ago

At some small level, yes, but it's not a big deal. It doesn't hurt anyone. If a lady has a problem with it, they can just say so and that's the end of that. It's really just some overpoliteness... There are bigger cases of sexism to worry about. If someone wants to be old-fashioned, I don't see a huge problem with that. I'm not saying that reserving a specific behavior for one sex isn't sexist, but it's quite a bit much to call it misogynistic.

[–]TheyCallMeTalex 0 points1 point ago

I think you're right; misogyny is a bit salacious of a word to invoke here, and we both can see a certain amount of sexism implicated here. In practice, I think I'd be more likely to swear in front of a friend's father before his/her mother, but these values are ingrained in me, and I don't think it's totally right. Thanks for engaging.

[–]Ravelthus 3 points4 points ago

I remember doing this. I was so embarrassed and my buddy's parents noticed. Father plainly said in the most monotone voice "shit son, we all cuss sometimes, it's fine."

Bam. All my worries.

[–]The_Painted_Man 3 points4 points ago

First time my brother did that in front of my parents, this was my face:

[–]GhostsofDogma 0 points1 point ago

You. I like you.

[–]MaverickTopGun 6 points7 points ago

I don't care that OP is in middle school, it's still really rude to say stuff like that.

[–]Ostmeistro 0 points1 point ago

Fuck

[–]andersenz11 2 points3 points ago

is there a cropped version of this...without the black sides

[–]dackkorto1 3 points4 points ago

OP is still in highschool...

[–]drk_etta 4 points5 points ago

Highschool? I would have guessed middle school.

[–]dackkorto1 1 point2 points ago

Well yea, either one.

[–]I_dont_like_turtles 8 points9 points ago

More like OP's parents have some sort of decency. I know that i don't like it when my friends swear in front of my parents. It's kinda common courtesy not to also.

[–]The_Oneders 4 points5 points ago

Accidently used the term "porch monkey" in front of my friend's parents. I felt like an asshole.

[–]Doctalen 9 points10 points ago

Come on people, we're bringing it back.

[–]Trioate 4 points5 points ago

Are they black?

[–]The_Oneders 10 points11 points ago

No, but wouldn't that have been hilarious?

[–]KeeseSlayer 0 points1 point ago

Everyone has that friend.

[–]AhMadMan 0 points1 point ago

Where's this gif from?

[–]GhostsofDogma 0 points1 point ago

That 70's Show. It was a Halloween episode but I don't remember which.

[–]zep2floyd 0 points1 point ago

I guess you've never been at an Irish dinner party.

[–]Eddyoshi 0 points1 point ago

Why do they keep looking, he said it once!

[–]adnan252 0 points1 point ago

Asian parents?

[–]Shiftkgb 0 points1 point ago

I'm from New Jersey and what is this?

[–]peewafe 0 points1 point ago

Yes Yes

[–]Inessia -1 points0 points ago

Sooo why is this a big thing? He said fuck, so?

[–]Milhouse_is_a_meme 0 points1 point ago

Were you?

[–]sonaaon 1 point2 points ago

Janet! Dr. Scott! Janet! Brad! Rocky! Janet! Dr. Scott! Janet! Brad! Rocky!

[–]leorising 0 points1 point ago

a seamless loop... mmm

[–]HotLunch 1 point2 points ago

So you're either thirteen or have a super religious family?

[–]bozzwtf 0 points1 point ago

feels good that this isn't an issue.

[–]Dystopeuh -2 points-1 points ago

Seriously?

My parents "drop the f-bomb" more than I do. And they're Bible thumping Christians (they pray for atheistic me a lot).

[–]lolowhat -4 points-3 points ago

Is most people here trolling? It's just a word and if it isnt aimed at someone at the table then how the fuck is it rude. American christian culture is pretty mindboggling sometimes. Maybe your parents and you should focus on ACTING nice towards everyone instead of this fake shit.

[–]Ostmeistro 0 points1 point ago

Yeah all cultures has swearing. I don't think it's natural to suppress it this much. I think it is part of expressing ourselves so deep that tribes in the jungle do it without having any contact with the outside world.

[–]AdrianBrony 0 points1 point ago

Most people don't actually have a problem with swearing itself, they simply use language selection as a sign of respect.

Basically, if this guy I barely know can't be bothered with a little self control during a nice polite conversation, then there is a perceived lack of respect.

That and if the one guy who never swears does swear, it is much more powerful in use.

[–]PdRichmond 1 point2 points ago

I'm from the UK. I'm an atheist. I would not even dream of swearing in front of my parents.

I certainly wouldn't swear in front of anyone else's parents.

[–]sweprotoker97 -2 points-1 points ago

seriously... 'mericaaaaa

[–]fogburner -3 points-2 points ago

So you're family is the cast of That 70's show?
