Looking for an image subreddit with minimal rules? Check out /r/images

A place to share interesting photographs and pictures. Feel free to post your own, but please read the rules first (see below), and note that we are not a catch-all for general images (of screenshots, comics, etc.)

Spoiler code

Please mark spoilers like this:

Hover over to read.

Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

[–]Coolala2002 1169 points1170 points ago

This marketing campaign clearly discriminates against the illiterate.

[–]REDDITvTIDDER 651 points652 points ago

Top post in /r/imgoingtohellforthis is expresses this same opinion.

[–]TheAtomicPlayboy 510 points511 points ago

Top comment is great, "I'm not a racist, but black people generally have darker skin than white people."

[–]SupermanV2 144 points145 points ago

Well, it's true.

[–]GaryDuder 246 points247 points ago

Stop agreeing with these Stormfront trolls. It only encourages them. Black people have the same color skin as white people.

[–]SouthCarolinaWhatsUp 150 points151 points ago

Color is a social construct.

[–]MNorthey71 59 points60 points ago

Color is a program of the Matrix. Another form of control.

[–]Adamapplejacks 19 points20 points ago

It's the illuminati, The Freemasons, presidents, Trilateral Commission, Bilderburg Group etc etc etc etc

[–]RealRedditUser 6 points7 points ago

Bilderburg group? Please enlighten me. They were so stealthy that I don't know anything about them.

[–]tpfour 16 points17 points ago

Surely you've heard of the Bilderburg Build-a-Bears?

[–]shmalarie 6 points7 points ago

i don't have the tiiiiime

[–]ariiiiigold 34 points35 points ago

I wash my whites and colours in the same machine because I'm not a racist and was brought up the right way.

[–]JustJoshingLiek 10 points11 points ago

But now you're going to get diluted colours on your whites

[–]Kayedon 3 points4 points ago

Been doing this for years, my whites are still white.

[–]YouPickMyName 5 points6 points ago

Perhaps you should buy some coloured clothes

[–]mjc7373 5 points6 points ago

Nice try, Colbert.

[–]hinduguru 4 points5 points ago

Do you two always travel together?

[–]i_shit_unicorns 3 points4 points ago

They're both just from the same school of karma-whoring. I.e. comment on any and every post that has even the remotest chance of making it to the front page. Sad really.

[–]cuddlefucker 12 points13 points ago

I'm glad he said generally. I have a friend who has really light skin for a black person, and being Sicilian Italian I can get some pretty dark skin, especially considering that I spend a lot more time outside than him. Long story short, there are times when I'm darker than my black friend. I consider myself white.

[–]CatAstrophy11 5 points6 points ago

Your friend is more likely mulatto.

[–]d12barnaby 12 points13 points ago

Well, what's the word for it?! You freaked out when I said "quadroon"!

[–]SpaceOdysseus 9 points10 points ago

I not entirely sure that's always true.

[–]I_cant_stop 4 points5 points ago

fuck my eyes

[–]SpaceOdysseus 4 points5 points ago

If you insist.

[–]PJMorlow 118 points119 points ago

How many times are redditors going to keep reposting the same racist comic until they realise it's just. not..... funny?

[–]TrollyMcTrollster 73 points74 points ago

Reddit is racist, you should have noticed by now. Specially for the amount of upvotes that post is getting.

[–]terkinlurgtime 0 points1 point ago

Novel idea here. I don't know if you'll be able to handle this, man, but.... it's funny to some people. Crazy shit, I know, I know. I hope I didn't fracture your fragile psyche.

[–]omgpro 3 points4 points ago

When are people like you going to realize that people like me think it's hilarious when something is just so bluntly, stupidly offensive. I can't even imagine anyone being offended by it because it's just so obviously not trying to be true.

[–]scooooot 13 points14 points ago

Ironic racism stops being ironic when people don't know you.

[–]carlfish 18 points19 points ago

Except reddit is full of people who absolutely believe its true, and laugh/upvote because it's something they agree with. And there's no feature in RES that allows a reader to separate "upvoted because I'm a racist shithead", and "upvoted because I'm oh-so-edgy".

And that matters, because… you know that conversation you have with a racist where they tell you everybody is racist, they're just the only ones brave enough to admit it? The one where they explain that it's been scientifically proven that people of other colours are lazy/stupid/thieves by nature, they're just the only ones willing to shuck the bonds of society and say it? That's what racists believe.

The repeated posting and upvoting of racist humour on reddit, the repeated defending of the use of racist slurs because they ‘don’t mean anything any more’, is nothing more than a loud dog-whistle for racists saying “See? Everyone is like me! All it takes is anonymity and everyone believes the same thing about race!”

Every time this crap is upvoted into the stratosphere, as it almost always is, reddit is saying to racists “Here is a place you are accepted. Here is a place you can espouse your message of hatred and people will laugh, pat you on the back and tell you to keep going.”

[–]mooglemark 3 points4 points ago

beautiful way of saying it. I saved this comment and will link it next time I sadly will need to explain this to someone. :)

[–]threemo 4 points5 points ago

You'd almost think that people have different ideas of humor.

[–]TrollyMcTrollster 23 points24 points ago

Yes, racist people tend to laugh at those types of jokes. I bet no one has the guts to post this picture on a sign and walk around black people.

[–]Adelz 4 points5 points ago

I laughed. I'm not racist. Stereotypes are funny, and if your gonna flip shit every time someone makes a generalization about a group of people (race, religion, orientation, etc) then you've got a long angry life ahead

[–]TrollyMcTrollster 15 points16 points ago

Maybe this was a stereotype in the 50-60s but we're in 2012.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_outcomes_in_the_United_States_by_race_and_other_classifications

I laughed. I'm not racist. . Stereotypes are funny, and if your gonna flip shit every time someone makes a generalization about a group of people (race, religion, orientation, etc) then you've got a long angry life ahead

I honestly don't get how this is funny, illiteracy among black people isn't an issue that's relevant in 2012. Maybe you find it funny because you think you're above them and actually think it's true?

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]TrollyMcTrollster 2 points3 points ago

You don't get the part that it's not only racist but also degrading black people. The message behind the joke is really not funny.

[–]zombieshaw 22 points23 points ago

If you have to preface your opinion with "I'm not racist" because the opinion you're giving would likely provide evidence to the contrary, you're probably racist. Hope this helps.

[–]HobKing 3 points4 points ago

He didn't preface his comment with "I'm not racist," that statement was a necessary part of his counterexample to McTrollster's claim that people who laugh at jokes like that are racist.

And statements are prefaced with "I'm not racist" not necessarily because they actually give evidence to the contrary, but because they might make the listener believe the contrary.

[–]zombieshaw 5 points6 points ago

If your statement would give the average reader cause to believe it is racist, or even gives yourself pause (due to the fact you even need to preface it), then it is probably racist. Hope this helps.

[–]threemo 0 points1 point ago

So if I say "I'm not an astronomer, but Earth is the third planet from the Sun", does that make me an astronomer?

[–]Adelz -1 points0 points ago

There was no preface. The guy said "If you laugh, your racist" and I said "I laughed, but am not racist" to directly contradict his drastic generalization.

It wasn't a "I'm not racist but black people suck" it was a "you said if you A you also B, but I only A and not B."

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]mary_tyler_murder 3 points4 points ago

I'm not racist.

Hmmm well let's test that claim

I laughed.

WELP sorry bro, you are super-duper racist.

[–]PJMorlow 5 points6 points ago

When one's idea of humour works on the expense of other people, there is a serious problem.

[–]threemo 15 points16 points ago

Humor is almost always at the expense of another.

[–]PJMorlow 4 points5 points ago

That is just not true at all.

[–]kenneth1221 10 points11 points ago

Why did Sally fall off the swing?

She had no arms

Knock knock

Who's there?

Not Sally

[–]westcoastpopart 14 points15 points ago

early 00s chain mail from gramps is the pinnacle of humor

[–]orangeandwhat 0 points1 point ago

I'd love to hear a joke that is not at the expense of another

[–]Sabu113 -1 points0 points ago

That's what disappoints me about Iamgoingtohellforthis. I like black humor and slightly "racist" jokes but a lot of the time... well it's not funny. It's not ironic or mocking. It's just a bit racist.

[–]robthemonster 44 points45 points ago

that's not called "a bit racist" dude.

[–]TheAngryGoat 4 points5 points ago

That's why they're going to hell - shit jokes.

[–]scooooot 2 points3 points ago

Didn't you know that Stormfront took over the day to day operations in r/pics?

[–]DEINSTITUTIONALIZED 206 points207 points ago

Well it did say "we" not "you".

[–]Cozmo23 61 points62 points ago

Maybe he will be motivated to give it go.

[–]rmc330 141 points142 points ago

he ought to.. lazy fucker just sits in his chair all day

[–]flytaggart1 35 points36 points ago

"Creeps me out, rolling around all day in his special little secret chair."

[–]jerekdeter626 13 points14 points ago

so the elevator is suggesting that it be taken up the stairs with you?

[–]Devout 12 points13 points ago

I can't believe some dudes are trying to correct you on the contextual application of "we" while you are cracking wise.....

[–]DEINSTITUTIONALIZED 5 points6 points ago

It's the way the world works.

[–]akatherder 7 points8 points ago

I think we're dealing with the royal we.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majestic_plural

[–]dont_press_ctrl-W 10 points11 points ago

In fact it'd be an exclusive we in this case.

[–]akatherder 21 points22 points ago

Well aren't we fancy.

[–]NoNeedForAName 5 points6 points ago

TIL "clusivity" is a word.

[–]dont_press_ctrl-W 2 points3 points ago

It's a clever term linguists came up with for a fairly technical dimension. It's not something you're likely to find outside of a small subset of Linguistic work.

[–]SunTzuOfFucking 30 points31 points ago

Ah, that was well-deserved. How dumb can people be?

[–]IronicallyFunny 2 points3 points ago

There is a pretty big chance that person was mentally handicapped.

[–]SunTzuOfFucking 15 points16 points ago

Without supervision?

[–]IronicallyFunny 10 points11 points ago

Absolutely. Mentally handicapped people don't always need supervision.

Even though this person would have probably benefited from it.

[–]burnone2 3 points4 points ago

lol probably.

[–]Illivah 2 points3 points ago

or an impossibly small chance, either way though, right?

Thanks, I guess.

Blue Cross Blue Shield is the company emblem. They're just trying to promote healthy choices like taking the stairs once in a while, they can't be expected to include disclaimers for people who can't, that would be stupid.

Lazy cripples...

[–]bmoreguy 42 points43 points ago

I'm sure this picture was taken to show some humor.

[–]BobRawrley 25 points26 points ago

I agree, this is a good idea for a campaign. I hope that the guy wasn't mad, but he should realize that he message wasn't meant for him, and noone expects him to take the stairs. I'd guess the majority of people who take the elevator do so out of laziness and not because of a disability, anyway.

[–]melumebelle 22 points23 points ago

I actually know the person who took this photo (since this is at my Uni). It was meant for humor. He isn't seriously pissed off about it.

[–]FitnessFascist 2 points3 points ago

do so out of laziness

We have entered a dark time in history where "laziness" is seen as convenience.

When confronted with a 7 story stair climb, or a 27 kilometer commute, the common man is tempted to abandon all pride and convey the birthright that is his physical glory unto the machines of servitude built by the slovenly fattle who term themselves "intellectuals" and "engineers" - excuses made by the slovenly to justify their lack of Physique Majestique.

The elevators, escalators, cars, trucks, busses, trains, aircraft, ships - these are all inventions by those most crafty and deceptive of men, the fat lazy piggles who seek to crush The Movement in its highest of glories. But sink ye not into despair, for there is hope yet, my fit friend. The purity of our bodies leads to the purity of mind, and as we rise we shall push the undermen of previous generations who termed themselves intellectuals and we shall show them that a man can be all things at once and a thousand things more! We shall demonstrate that every intellectual and physical pursuit is possible for every man and woman who sets himself to the pursuit of absolute narcissism and absolute perfection.

For we are engineers. We are intellectuals. We are extreme mountain hull-less kayakers. We are olympic sprinters. We are weight lifters. We are musicians. We are artists. We are all things at once, and we are experts at all of them, and we will not be discouraged! We will drive our bodies to their absolute limits and we will not rest and we will not relax and we will not ponder and we will not lose ourselves in the forest but will lose the forest in ourselves for we are the hikers to end all hikes, the runners to end all runs, and the intellectuals to end all intellect.

All those lazy fattle who hide behind the lies and excuses of "intellectualism" perpetuated by the slovenly piggards of this world shall be rendered in the rendering plants! For there can be no pursuits beyond those purest of pursuits, the pursuit of self-glory that is physical perfection.

[–]BobRawrley 0 points1 point ago

I'm not saying someone should walk up 7 flights of stairs. I live on the 6th floor of my building, and not once have I taken the stairs up or down. I do, however, walk up and down the escalators on the subway instead of standing and waiting, and I always take the stairs down from my office at work, which is on the 3rd floor. I'm not trying to brag, because that is really nothing to brag about, I simply want to show the boundaries of what I consider acceptable and what I consider lazy.

I realize your post is facetious, but I wanted to address a few things. I don't think purity of body=purity of mind, nor do I think everyone should be in shape for a marathon. I probably couldn't run more than 2 miles unless I was being chased by a tiger. I do think that obesity is a major health problem in the US, and that people who don't take care of themselves don't realize the impact they are having on our country. Obesity-related care is expected to account for an astonishing 21% of healthcare spending by 2018, which would be around $344 billion dollars according to this paper. As a country, the US cannot afford to have 1/5 of its healthcare costs attributed to a largely preventable condition. If it were simply a matter of "I like to eat, it's none of your business," then this would be a moot point. The problem is, obviously, that it is all of our problems, not just the people who have no concern for their own health. I recognize that there are numerous factors beyond laziness that contribute to obesity, including low income, and lack of access to fresh vegetables, but if your circumstances allow it, you should be able to maintain a healthy weight, thereby probably lengthening your own lifespan and doing your fellow citizens a favor in the process.

[–]FitnessFascist 4 points5 points ago

It sounds like you are on the right track.

Of particular concern is the cost that the pure and the fit pay into health care and insurance, costs which go in large part towards maintaining the lifestyles of the slovenly and the unfit.

Perhaps even more concerning is that when I extreme mountain parasail or even just enjoy a casual 10K sprint, I want to know that health care resources are available to help me with my sport-related injuries and not tied up restarting the heart of a piggle who really ought to be slaughtered for his valuable fats.

But do not think that this is the only battle we face. For once we are done with the fat, we must work on the elderly. And the smokers. And the motorcycle riders. And the bicyclists. And the hikers. And the skiers. For all of these things contribute tangibly to the reduction of health care resources that are available to treating me for whatever conditions may result from my lifestyle choices, which are the purest of lifestyle choices, the only lifestyle choices! And it is only through the demonization of the unholy and revoltingly heterogeneous lifestyles of the others that we shall ever be free!! IT IS ONLY THROUGH THE ENFORCEMENT OF PURE MORALS, PURE MINDS, AND PURE BODIES that SOCIETY SHALL BE FREED OF ITS BURDENS AND THE FIT SHALL BE FREE TO FLY UNHINDERED BY THOSE WHO WOULD DRAG HIM DOWN!

SIEG TAUGLICHKEIT!

[–]bashfulpanda 2 points3 points ago

If they did, we'd be here complaining about that instead. Like how everyone complains about Spanish being printed on product labels.

God I love it.

[–]FitnessFascist 19 points20 points ago

Blue Cross Blue Shield is merely the spearhead for the upcoming Blitzkreig against the fat and slovenly across America and soon, the world.

No slovenly piggard shall be left unscathed when the searing power of our muscular loins propels our driving shafts of glistening purity deep into the flabby depths of the sickness that has taken our land hostage and laid ruin to the future that our ancestors had written into the tapestry of civilization through the sacrifices wrought with the iron resolve of their muscles, skin, and bone.

No slovenly skinsack shall be left to poison the air with its flatulence and ruin the soil with its sweaty lumbering footfalls, bar those whom we will raise as fattle in fattle farms. The bodies of these human cows will convert high fructose corn syrup into organic fats, fats which will be rendered in rendering facilities into lubricants so that the fit can enter the tightest extreme lycra fashion/fitness gear with which to fit through the narrowest of chasms during extreme canyon climbing excursions and which will allow our bodies to be exhibited with the purest of form... and fats which can act as raw materials for creating soap with which to purify our bodies and minds.

Make you no mistake! The time is at hand, and the pure essence of fitness will be revealed.

The time is at hand.

It is time to prepare your chute-less paragliding harnesses for freefall mountain paragliding.

It is time to lubricate the chains and install the knobbies on your extreme downhill unicycles.

It is time to tension the springs on your BouncyFoot Spring Stilt Joggers.

It is time to dust off your ultralight kevlar composite dog leashes and fibre composite Vegatkins picnic baskets.

It is time to wax your alpine scree-slope rock skis.

It is time to sharpen your asphalt blade-skates.

It is time to shine your Volkswagen Tourareg and your Honda Element, and install every Yakima and Thule accessory in your garage.

It is time to roll out your wheel-less extreme downhill baby stroller and your High Impact Cardio-Yoga pants.

The time is now.

And we will sit in the shadows no longer.

ONE PEOPLE!

ONE NATION!

ONE FITNESS!

SEIG! TAUGLICHKEIT!

[–]FitnessFascist 4 points5 points ago

The blubbery masses of the unfit have a collective momentum that is very difficult to overcome. But every hour that is spent recruiting for the movement - every moment that is spent sparking the Great Spark of the Dynamo Physique - is a moment that is not spent in vain, for it is a moment in which the momentum of the mass of piggards is shifted - ever so slightly - until it becomes a movement which funnels the unsightly fattle into the fattle railcars to be transported to the Final Rendering!

[–]cowpunter 2 points3 points ago

I'm also buying myself TWO bags of muddy buddies tonight even though I'll probably get a headache from the chocolate if I eat that much.

[–]Corvus133 2 points3 points ago

It's not on them to force people to do it, either.

I don't get where this force comes from and why people think they have a right to utilize it but... this is the result of idiots not thinking.

What next? They lock the parking lot and go "today was walking day!"

Tie chair to legs, use superhuman arm strength to climb stairs. I don't see a problem here.

[–]kwirky88 4 points5 points ago

A friend of mine faced the wrath of our school's inability to keep the elevators repaired. He was the first student in a wheel chair they had in probably a decade and his early 1-2 years at the college included many nights stuck on one floor or another due to an elevator being out of service.

It took them a couple years to learn that these things need to be working constantly. It was the outrage the outrage students expressed towards the administration office of the institution that caused the changes.

[–]sassycunt 4 points5 points ago

this reminds me of all those disabled people that got abandoned in stairwells during 9/11.

The disabled have no evacuation routes.

[–]baddaddvice 7 points8 points ago

I like how the guy's outfit matches the elevator. He likely is wearing a bracelet that says "Team Elevator" and his hat says "Fuck da Stairs".

[–]Kfabulous9 3 points4 points ago

[–]holyerthanthou 3 points4 points ago

"I'm leg disabled"

[–]inneresting 4 points5 points ago

I have a legitamite related question; what happens in an emergency if someone is in a wheelchair or otherwise unable to use the stairs? I work in a building that is 50 stories high and cannot imagine it being feasible for them to be carried down the stairs. Also, what happens if they are alone?

[–]Deadeye388 3 points4 points ago

I think the firemen that respond either take handicapped people down the stairs (carrying them) or take them down a ladder outside the window. I had a similar concern in my middle school a few years ago because I am physically handicapped and I had classes on the second floor. So, I couldn't imagine what would happen in a 50 floor building. They may take the elevator down regardless of what the elevator signs say.

They do have forethought. They're thinking about the staff who take an elevator to go up one floor up or down, slowing the moving of patients like this guy down. And they're thinking of how those employees are getting winded right now going up one flight of stairs.

While we're at it, lets get rid of stairs, those really discriminate against people in wheelchairs...

[–]Shaqsquatch 3 points4 points ago

The funny thing is I work at a Blue Cross Blue Shield (not MN), and I see people taking the elevator one floor on a daily basis.

[–]andrewsmith1986 6 points7 points ago

I thought it was on a campus.

[–]percypersimmon[S] 12 points13 points ago

It's a PSA for Blue Cross Blue Shield, an insurance company in MN.

They have a pretty successful ad campaign called Do which gives simple tips to do things that are slightly more active. This one, however, wasn't entirely thought out.

[–]Brewster-Rooster 7 points8 points ago

this has been posted before, and it was revealed that the elevators did work, this was just a poster on the doors.

[–]MyHoney420 38 points39 points ago

um... duh? of course they couldn't be serious, they can't just remove the elevators as an option o.O

[–]Brewster-Rooster 2 points3 points ago

This one, however, wasn't entirely thought out.

I took this to mean that they didn't think about people in wheelchairs, which would only be a problem if the elevator actually didn't work

[–]Afufnuh 2 points3 points ago

[–]Sharkhug 1 point2 points ago

Meanwhile on the other elevator's door, "When it comes to your healthcare, United we stand."

[–]lydocia 2 points3 points ago

"Really?" the cripple said, thinking he had finally been cured of his handicap.

But alas. One frontal face plant to the floor and a law suit later, he is still in his wheelchair.

[–]tatch 0 points1 point ago

There was a suggestion recently that if all the billions that have been spent making businesses around the world wheelchair accessible, had instead been spent on research into cybernetics, there would be very few people left in wheelchairs.

[–]Wheat_Grinder 1 point2 points ago

Is this at the U of M? If so, I've totally seen that guy around before.

[–]betafish37 1 point2 points ago

That guy got shafted.

[–]joshhavel 0 points1 point ago

I know this guy! Link to Other Post

Today is the day that guy takes the stares.

[–]Ricos_Roughnecks 4 points5 points ago

Why must I always laugh.

[–]Ludwig_Rat 4 points5 points ago

REPOST!

[–]UselessGovEmployee 5 points6 points ago

I cant stand people who stand right infront of the elevator doors, and attempt to force their way in as people are still getting off. Wait 30 goddamn seconds and you will be free to walk on without displacing anyone...

And yes, i understand this gentleman is right infront of the door to make light of the ad placed on it.

[–]Itisarepost 2 points3 points ago

30 seconds? are your elevators filled with tortoises?

[–]ProfKABOOM 1 point2 points ago

FUCK YOU ! YOU REPOSTED MY REPOST AND GOT THE KARMA . SHAME ON YOU !!!!

[–]micahshell 0 points1 point ago

Dam a couple months ago my dad was in the hospital and this was in the parking garage. Oh the karma I could have reaped.

[–]SCIENCE3000 0 points1 point ago

Today is the day we change our ad campaign.

[–]Superparrotclub 0 points1 point ago

Ouch.

[–]gnarbucketz 0 points1 point ago

The title sounds like commander's rallying speech before a battle for the stairwell. The Great Battle of the Stairs, 2012.

[–]Montuckian 0 points1 point ago

I've seen a lot of spinals, dude.

[–]Mallingong 0 points1 point ago

Oh he just needs one of Dean Kamen's iBots. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBOT

[–]iorgfeflkd 0 points1 point ago

I used to work on the 7th floor of the hospital. I'd take the elevator to and from the ground floor. There'd be patients, feeble sick or old, taking the elevator one floor. That's fine. There'd be people with carts or stretchers or a lot of files taking it one floor. Fine. But then there were the perfectly healthy unencumbered people getting on at six and getting off at five, doubling the length of my ride. COME ON.

[–]imaginelove615 2 points3 points ago

You see them as physically able. They may not be. I look like a perfectly normal (and hot, even!) young woman but I have an auto-immune disease that affects my joints and muscles, a heart defect, and chronic tachycardia. My resting pulse is 95.

With invisible illnesses, you never know.

[–]justapunkrocksong 2 points3 points ago

If it's like most buildings, the stairs are hidden in some corner and look like they were intended only as a fire escape, and the first thing you see when you walk in the front door are some nicely decorated elevator banks with stairs nowhere to be seen. If they are visitors they probably don't even know where the stairs are.

[–]izzguuud 0 points1 point ago

How'd he get to the second floor?

[–]Devout 0 points1 point ago

Challenge accepted?

[–]UncleS1am 0 points1 point ago

Challenge: Declined.

It's like one machine is on strike against another.

EDIT: Futurama has ruined the way I look at machines. They're all ppl.

[–]ikegro -1 points0 points ago

OP, is this in Tennessee?

[–]Dankycheese -1 points0 points ago

Here's an idea: invent cheaper stair climbing wheelchairs. Do it.

[–]drummer1059 0 points1 point ago

Congrats, you are only the second person to hit it big with this image

[–]baultista -1 points0 points ago

I would have more sympathy for him if he wasn't wearing a John Cena hat.

[–]Anger_Games 0 points1 point ago

Hostos?!

[–]LedZacclin -1 points0 points ago

I sat in a wheelchair once, that shit sucked.

[–]golavar 0 points1 point ago

I work for the company that posted this add.

[–]Kaiden628 0 points1 point ago

I thought the joystick on the right was his/her hand in a glove giving the slogan the finger... It would have been funnier that way.

[–]VelvetSkyForever 0 points1 point ago

I take the stairs all the time. Helps me lose weight!

[–]saravjohansson 0 points1 point ago

This is awful!

[–]erosharcos -1 points0 points ago

Wow. That's shitty.

[–]Macbethdvs 0 points1 point ago

That font is so popular

[–]singularissententia -1 points0 points ago

Wait... is this UMD?

[–]marishtar 0 points1 point ago

:-(

[–]nBdyy 0 points1 point ago

Would've been funny if the guy in the wheelchair wasn't there. Now it's just upsetting.

[–]tabassman 0 points1 point ago

Can someone quickly 'shop the photo so his head is tilted downward in shame?

[–]vivalataco 0 points1 point ago

If it was me, i would go to the stairs and ask the employee(s) to help me up them. Just to piss them off.

[–]fatassapplefanboy 0 points1 point ago

lol

[–]MikeOfAllPeople 0 points1 point ago

Okay so this guy has an excuse, but what about the rest of you?

[–]wolfmann 0 points1 point ago

I want to see his awesome new wheelchair

[–]NoLegsLunatic 0 points1 point ago

I bet a gay person would start a protest over that sign if he saw it

[–]apostrophewaitress 0 points1 point ago

You heard 'em. Today's the day you die!

[–]J_Jammer 0 points1 point ago

Clearly today is the day someone rolls up in a wheelchair to get a picture with an elevator that hates the unlegged.

[–]dime5150 0 points1 point ago

son of a bitch...

[–]rawrpancake 0 points1 point ago

And what do we say to the stairs? Not today.

[–]Vasov 0 points1 point ago

I laughed.

And now I feel like complete shit.
