They are arctic foxes yes, they are endagered and incredibly soft! We have some around my mothers cabin in the mountain, and they are really good at stealing food. One time they stole the xmas dinner steak so we had to eat sausages :p This happened in Norway.

I found a litter of red fox pups earlier this year. The father had been killed months before and the mother had died just a few days prior. I was outside with my 5 year old cousin when I saw the bunch of little fuzzballs running around near some hay bales. When I cam closer and squatted down, they ran over to me. They must have been starving, otherwise they would have stayed far away.

After waiting a few hours to make sure the mother was not coming back, I picked them all up and we fed them milk and soft dog food. They bolted it down and immediately fell asleep. We ended up giving them to people that could raise them.

Sadly, my wife and I could not keep our favorite one (which we named Scooter), so we gave her to a lady that we trusted. We get pictures from her from time to time. He is a beautiful red fox now and she is in love with him.
