That's what I figured, just poking fun at those kids who grow the not quite a mustache and act like they can grow so much facial hair.

As of right now all that comes in fully for me is a goatee and sideburns, so if you can grow a full beard, congrats, you're manlier than me.

There's one kid in the class below me who spent all year growing a little patch on his chin. Now he's trying to do a chinstrap, but his sideburns are too thin to show. One day he was being a bitch, so I said to him, "Nice beard!" sarcastically. He said, "At least I can grow one." Little does he know, what takes him 5 months, takes me one week. I'm in the process of growing mine out right now. 4 days in, 10 to go until school!

Mine is thick but slow-growing. It takes me a couple of weeks before it really starts showing, but then it's like coarse fur. It's great, especially because most of the girls like it and the one girl who doesn't is extremely gullible.

Same. It takes a few days to get long, but once it does, it's thick. I get very coarse stubble a day after shaving.

haha that shit was so annoying. I had the douchebag chinstrap through sophomore and junior year of high school and finally grew out the full beard senior year. Kids would brag about not shaving in a month and having some fuzz under their chin and I'd just point to my beard and say "dude...I shaved three days ago"

I can grow a decent amount of beard, but I have to shave it because it isn't quite to the point of not looking stupid. Once, when I hadn't shaved for a few days, an upperclassmen pointed at me while laughing at his friend, telling him that a freshman (me) had a better beard than him. I felt pretty good after that.

I can grow a decent beard and I'm only 16. My downfall is my mustache and soul patch, though. I can grow a full beard everywhere else but I have such a weak mustache that doesn't even connect to the rest of my beard. People tell me I look like wolverine because my beard pretty much looks like this + a little bit more of a goatee.

I have mustache, but it doesn't connect to my beard. There's a bare area shaped like a "J" that goes from the corner of my mouth to my bottom lip. There's hair in the middle, though.

I just started it the other day. It'll take about 2 weeks to get thick enough to be considered a beard. Right now it's just a coating of copper wire everywhere. This is my first year actually deciding to grow it out.

I go to a private school where boys are required to be clean shaven and whatnot... On multiple occasions our head of upper school has made my boyfriend shave his face. I swear he grows that facial hair back instantly.

its funny. i can grow hair and have been able o freshman year, and have some 'burns now for my sophomore year, yet my brothers friend who just turned 19 cant grow a mustache.. :p

I've had a full beard since my sophmore year in high school (freshman in college now) and I started shaving in 7th grade. I probably could have grown a beard back then, but I never tried, I always shaved. Hitting puberty early feels good man.

it tends to get annoying after a while, especially with that 5 o'clock shadow you get after cleanshaaving and you ahve to wait for the beard to grow out, that peroid is hella annoying

it realy dosn't shadow for me, i don't have THICK hari growth (thicker then most, but not raly that thick) so it just ends up looking like half my face is darker then my other, it usally turns into a real stubble after 4 - 5 days :/

Who can. Not many guys at my school can grow facial hair.
