And Shoes or a brake, I used to ride BMX for a little while and unless they are doing amazing tricks people don't wear helmets, if you do where a helmet people usually give you stupid looks. He also has no brakes which many of my friends didn't and they used their shoes on the floor to stop because where they live in a area flat so it's fairly safe but this kid has no Brake or shoes so he's a disaster waiting to happen :(

Oh, but you need shoes like DC,etnies etc. to stop you, sandals have hardy any friction and if he put them on the floor they would fall apart and rip his feet to shreds which would a very nsfw moment :/

what else should he have done? there was no way to stop that. might s well get the footage. maybe selling it to one of those "people getting hurt with ridiculous sound effects while an announcer makes bad jokes" shows could help out with some of the medical bills. (even though it's only a 6/7 foot tall ramp, so the kid probably didn't get any serious injuries.)

Either his coaster brakes broke when he landed at the top, or he's on a brakeless fixie and the wheel slipped backwards. I'm thinking the former, because his feet clearly pedal backwards half a revolution very suddenly after having been stopped, and that's when he falls forward into the rail.
