I once had a room mate walk in as I was just about to start cooking dinner. Ramen for the 97th day in a row. She took one look at me and said, "Have you started cooking yet?" I told her I was just starting to cut up my carrot (it was fancy ramen, after all). "Good," she said, and dragged me out of the house. Bought me a pizza where she didn't even like any of the toppings, and let me eat as much as I wanted.

Apparently, she was as sick of me eating ramen as I was.

It was incredibly nice! Pizza never tasted so good.

I was eating well for several months before that, but then I got broke and found out that between ramen, brand name cereal, and PB&J sandwiches I could eat for $20/week. I got sick of it after a while, but kept eating it because I needed money.
