I do love that quote... but the picture is annotated incorrectly. Pretty sure Voyager didn't leave the solar system in 1990. I'm basing this mostly off the NASA press release earlier this year talking about Voyager entering the heliosheath and how it would soon be the first man made object to leave the solar system.
