Fun story I feel compelled to say every time this is posted. My dad worked on this movie [Hot Shots!]* as a grip. The day they were filming all of these scenes they wanted a deckhand (? sorry I have no clue what actual ship crew members are called) to throw a foot ball and another one to jump off the side of the carrier to catch it. No one could throw a football straight enough for some reason but the Director of Photography, who my dad coached in college came up and said "Kent can throw a football!" so they put my dad in the costume and he threw a perfect spiral. So you can see his face for a total of 1/2 a second.
