As no one else has posted them, did a bit of Googlefu and found some more.

[–]Xanthu 34 points35 points ago

Her face is twice as WTF as the arms.

[–]StaRkill3rZ 19 points20 points ago

do you love me now daddy?

[–]BitterDivorcedDad 3 points4 points ago

Yeah, exactly.

[–]MonikerMushroom 5 points6 points ago

Are those scars on her head next to the lumps? Like she took a razor and just decided to shred her forehead?

[–]DeepwaterJohn 6 points7 points ago

[–]sallydreams 3 points4 points ago

Not cute. Not cute at all.

[–]KallistiEngel 1 point2 points ago

Somehow I don't think 'cute' is what she's going for.

[–]thedudedylan 1 point2 points ago

Now that is an interesting thing to do with your free time.

[–]formerlylurkinlurker 101 points102 points ago

The girl who did this is Asian, and a huge fan of wolverine. She only had it done for a show or something, and had them removed after a few hours. These types of piercings aren't meant to be permanent; they are carefully done and extracted in the same manor. This pic is very old.

[–]broden 53 points54 points ago

Nice ordering of important information.

[–]constipationnow 20 points21 points ago

aha what is this manor called? and why is everyone gathering in that manor just to be pierced?

[–]NervineInterface 6 points7 points ago

Xavier's, I think.

[–]46966 3 points4 points ago

Thank god you cleared up the fact that she is Asian. I was sitting here, worrying if I'd ever give a fuck.

[–]absinthevisions 149 points150 points ago

These types of piercings are not permanent. They are ment to be taken out with a few hours at most. They are usually just put in for pictures or a show then are promptly removed.

[–]bishop252 211 points212 points ago

I think the point was why would you do that to yourself in the first place.

[–]skyman724 60 points61 points ago

She clearly wants to be Wolverine.

(though judging by the outfit, this is a Sexy Wolverine costume)

[–]TLKoontz 3 points4 points ago

I think the sexy-ness is debatable.

[–]chaotic_phoenix 4 points5 points ago

I was going to hit that, but then I changed my mind when I realized that maybe her beaver is actually a porcupine instead.

[–]blackie197666 12 points13 points ago

Omg I had no idea what I was looking at. I see it now though.

[–]sierrabravo1984 8 points9 points ago

I didn't even realize it was a woman until that was pointed out. I was fixated on the metal spikes.

[–]elaphros 4 points5 points ago

I know, first time ever with a pic on the internet... I saw the fishnets and panties, but was too transfixed by the horror before me to care. I guess I have a new image to keep any boner down.

[–]economypear 15 points16 points ago

Fishnets and panties do not a woman make.

[–]starwarsnerdguy 3 points4 points ago

Or, more appropriately, lady deathstrike.

[–]CerpinTaxes 10 points11 points ago

Some people just genuinely really enjoy the act of being pierced, not the finished piercings themselves.

Some people find it really pleasurable.

You must have heard of piercing addiction before? Or piecing play as a sexual act?

Some people just like the rush, like bungee jumping.

[–]brainiac256 6 points7 points ago

Some people juggle geese.

[–]Honeyblade 14 points15 points ago

Usually, art.

[–]Jalisciense 17 points18 points ago

...and attention whoring.

[–]experienced_rookie 21 points22 points ago

Sadly, often enough, the line between the two is hard to draw.

[–]biggiepants 6 points7 points ago

All art is 'attention whoring'. You could make a painting for just yourself, but usually people want to show it to others (let listen/experience etc.)

[–]Shibidybow 0 points1 point ago

I don't know, I find it easy enough to pin down.

[–]megamansam 3 points4 points ago

You could even say she nailed it.

[–]pahlmitchell 1 point2 points ago

It feels so fucking good!! Deuces biiitch

[–]DollyPart-time 3 points4 points ago

Art-tention whoring.

[–]unlock3d 4 points5 points ago

Oh. Don't mind me, I'll just be over there... admiring and loving that kind of things. you should lookup for corset! they're actually nice.

[–]2phresh 0 points1 point ago

Different people express themselves in different ways. Just because it's not what many others, including yourself, do doesn't mean that person has something "wrong" with them.

[–]LakeShoreDrive1 30 points31 points ago

You say self-expression, I say self-mutilation. Tomato, tomatoe.

[–]papa_bear_uk 6 points7 points ago

Tomato and tomatoe sound the same to me

[–]2phresh 13 points14 points ago

To some, they are one and the same.

[–]CerpinTaxes -3 points-2 points ago

Wow, it's impressive how fucking bigoted reddit is about matters of body modification.

How is it self mutilation to change things about your body for your own personal pleasure? Do you think the natural human form to be sacred?

These aren't people who hate their bodies and want to disfigure them as a form of self punishment or distraction from psychological pain.

They just want to embellish their bodies because they like the adornments.

How is that mutilation? It's decoration.

Would you tell someone having cosmetic surgery for a deformity they are "mutilating their body"? Or does that not count because their view of aesthetic beauty falls in line with yours and the majority?

Is dying your hair self mutilation? It's about exactly as harmful as getting professionally pierced.

Or does that not count either, again because it is more common and trends towards "the norm"?

[–]colbyshairbrush 0 points1 point ago

Wow. So you know the reason everyone does this. Not one person has ever done it as a form of mutilation, it's always a pleasurable decorative event. Like changing your curtains. Get over yourself.

[–]LakeShoreDrive1 1 point2 points ago

Fair enough. I don't think I'm bigoted but a majority of people, myself included, don't see this type of "body modification" everyday so my comment was more a shock factor thing of, "Wow people really do this? Cause that looks like it hurts like hell." then a, "Look at this freak inflicting pain on oneself." But that's why I said tomato, tomatoe. People view things the same differently. You see decoration, I see a trip to the ER.

[–]SuperSalamii 0 points1 point ago

You got downvoted becaue you had a different, reasonable opinion.

Sorry, bro ):

[–]JsShuttlesworth 10 points11 points ago

well it does. the entire basis of mental health is founded on the idea that there is a normal population statistic for certain types of behaviors. this type of behaviour falls far outside that statistic. they obviously have something wrong with them. it is biologically imperative that your skin remains closed to prevent infection and we have had millions of years of evolution to develop behaviour that prevents us from deliberately and accidentally damaging out skin. these people are broken.

[–]Jb191 10 points11 points ago

'These people' have had this performed in a sterile and hygienic setting, by trained professionals and with proper care the risk of infection is almost zero.

The entire basis of mental health is controlling behaviors likely to be harmful to oneself or others, not ensuring everybody fits inside a standard deviation from the mean.

Presumably tattoos are a sign of much more severe mental illness, given that they inherently involve the opening of a large-area wound on the body?

[–]el_Maripoes 1 point2 points ago

Are tattoos a larger health risk than this?

Also, how painful is this?

[–]bishop252 -1 points0 points ago

I have no issues what you decide to do with your body. I'm just pointing out to the person that the op probably was not referring to how permanent the body mods are.

[–]dubski 1 point2 points ago

Incorrect. This is the latest treatment for RSI. Beware, computer users.

[–]DutchPrisoner 1 point2 points ago

Yeah as long as she/he pulls them out soon, it's totally normal.

[–]Calciber 22 points23 points ago

Perhaps she enjoys pain. It's reasonably common.

[–]isopropophlex 2 points3 points ago

Only in people who don't experience real involuntary chronic nerve pain for example. sticking pins in your skin is silly if you're looking for real pain.

[–]CerpinTaxes 2 points3 points ago

It's not the pain itself is the feeling of control of the pain. If you're enjoying the pain and it goes a little too far? You can just ease off and it stops.

Of course having constant pain isn't fun, I don't think anyone is going to protest that.

[–]Calciber 0 points1 point ago

No, but I experience chronic pain from several old injuries and I still enjoy a good bit of piercing and other such things.

[–]the_waitress 15 points16 points ago

I've seen pictures of this girl somewhere. Apparently she did it and took them out right after. Gets some people off I suppose.

[–]justabrickinthewall 3 points4 points ago

So, uh...

You got the pics?

[–]the_waitress 0 points1 point ago

I saw them several years ago. I wouldn't even know how to find that girl now.

[–]Keabo 17 points18 points ago

At first I was all like, "Aw wtf!" and then I scrolled down and I was all like "Fuck yeah, Wolverine!"

[–]mahmelhaud 1 point2 points ago

I don't see why it matters to you. It doesn't affect your life in any way. Downvote for judgement.

[–]boarding2music 12 points13 points ago

Im loving the outfit

[–]makeshift11 8 points9 points ago

I like how people immediately jump to wolverine references here. It's obvious she's a major fan of Baraka from Mortal Kombat.

[–]feral_troll 5 points6 points ago

.....then it would only be one blade with hundred of small spikes on the forearm sides..

[–]makeshift11 4 points5 points ago

...I feel completely stupid yet grateful that you didn't downvote me...thank you.

[–]feral_troll 1 point2 points ago

meh ill let you live but make no mistake young grasshopper, i will downvote you to the netherrealm if i see a mistake like this again....more stealthful than the night..

edit for grammar

[–]ontherage4 31 points32 points ago

How would anyone think that was a good idea?

[–]pchieng 91 points92 points ago

Well, if they were made of adamantium, I'd have to think about it.

[–]ontherage4 13 points14 points ago

If only they didn't stick out above the wrist...

[–]slapstick2 11 points12 points ago

There's nothing wrong with her. She did what made her happy, what is wrong with that?

[–]roastedbagel 8 points9 points ago

Reddit can't stand other people who are different. Herd mentality.

[–]Totlin 6 points7 points ago

"You did something that I wouldn't do! What is wrong with you?!"

sigh

[–]Sieg67 3 points4 points ago

You should see her face.

[–]Bainemo 4 points5 points ago

I have a feeling I'd prefer not to

[–]NerdyRN 5 points6 points ago

She was touched.

[–]OwIsNotASafeword 0 points1 point ago

I hope they were sanitized first.

[–]ErroneousDylan 2 points3 points ago

Is it weird that I want to rub my fingers against the bumps to see what it feels like?

[–]easybuttonaddict 0 points1 point ago

She's the best there is at what she does, but what she does isn't very nice.

[–]shimanteko 2 points3 points ago

Baraka!

[–]MyMomIsA_Gay 0 points1 point ago

How is she going to wipe her ass?

[–]Doovid97 2 points3 points ago

I thought it looked pretty badass...

[–]Kenificus 1 point2 points ago

I love wolverine but shit

[–]valarmorghulis 16 points17 points ago

I have friends in a circus where suspensions and play-piercings are part of the show. You want to know why they do it? They enjoy it.

I go to their shows to see all the self-righteous people in the audience go green.

[–]Laurenanana 51 points52 points ago

I think they go green cause they think it would hurt, not cause they're self-righteous. At least most of them. I wouldn't do this kind of thing cause I'm a scaredy cat and cause it's just not my preference. I'm not judging people who do this, so could y'all not judge me for not doing it? Tanks.

Edit: typo

[–]3danimator 10 points11 points ago

I go to their shows to see all the self-righteous people in the audience go green.

Hmm.....guess you sounds self righteous now?

[–]rumckle 3 points4 points ago

I was at a show where a suspension trick went wrong, and the hooks got torn out of a guys leg, it was pretty intense. But, after get lowered to the ground the guy went to the bar before going to hospital, fuckin' champ.

[–]YogurtShaker 2 points3 points ago

I like how you assume people with a weak stomach or who are bothered by things that look painful are "self righteous"

[–]walgman 1 point2 points ago

You self righteous bastard.

[–]Myuagi 6 points7 points ago

Seriously! Fishnets? Soooo last year

[–]BadArtStudent 0 points1 point ago

Given that this has been floating around for awhile I am sure at the time they were.... cutting edge.

[–]BitterDivorcedDad 0 points1 point ago

Sharp eye.

[–]Kreiger81 1 point2 points ago

Those of you saying "WTF Why would she do this", you all need to take a step back and realize that other people enjoy different things than you do, and as long as she's not hurting anybody else, you really have no call to judge or point and stare.

There's a pretty huge world out there of different body-mod interests, pain fetishists, or other "sub-culture" people that live and breathe and work amongst you, and I find this sort of "omg wtf is wrong with this person why would you want to put pins and steel into your arms and hands" to be rather annoyingly and slightly condescending.

[–]TheWiseNoob 2 points3 points ago

This type of hobby needs to be persistently recognized as a self-destructive addiction, or further delusion is being encouraged. It is not healthy. Body modifications are not healthy. Suspensions are not healthy. Getting over the fear of an activity like this is not creative or a way to better yourself. Endure pain in a way that isn't pointless artsy dumbfuckery, or you're going to waste a lot of time and effort on something unrewarding as fuck. It's too insanely damaging to the body for how little benefit there is. Doing shit like this does not involve being aware of your well-being.

I understand it is the individual's choice to make and preventing it is futile, but people that do make it are dumb as fuck. That is my logical judgement.

[–]roastedbagel 6 points7 points ago

Would you say the same for skydiving? Base jumping? Swimming with sharks? Hiking a trail in the wilderness with wild animals? Anything dangerous?

[–]CerpinTaxes 3 points4 points ago

You do realize you're no better than a religious zealot trying to impose their beliefs on others right?

You have no right to interfere with other people's lives and tell them what they can and can not do with their own bodies.

And no, for your information it is not self destructive or permanently damaging.

You may consider these kinds of activities "unrewarding as fuck" yet have you ever spoken to any of these people? They get immense satisfaction from it. They would argue they find it incredibly rewarding.

If you don't think so you are free not to engage in such behavior, just as they are free to.

I have a friend that works as a mental health care worker.

Do you know what they are instructed to do if they find one of the patients (who has a history of inflicting small superficial cuts to themselves but are not suicidal) cutting themselves?

They are told to give them a clean razor blade and a first aid kit.

It's not harmful, it makes them feel better, and everyone knows from experience that they get pleasure from it and are not trying to cause themselves permanent harm.

This is a universal health care policy, it's not some localized quackery, it's actually the best thing for all parties concerned.

Your judgment is not logical, is angry, ill informed and based on subjective views.

[–]WTB_Death_Note 3 points4 points ago

Couldn't imagine wiping your ass with those still on.

[–]The_Head_Master 2 points3 points ago

Ok that is actually pretty cool, yeah a little wtf but definitely awesome.

[–]Karmakerosene -5 points-4 points ago

Seriously, people. I am getting sick and tired of seeing body modification here when none of you who are saying bad things about it and the people who get it done know anything about it. This particular piercing is temporary. It's not even very strange. It's much like corset piercings or suspension. It's not like she fucking walks around with gigantic piercing needles in her arms all day everyday. Why don't you all get yourselves educated before you judge this type of thing?

[–]otharee 6 points7 points ago

Just because it's not permanent doesn't mean I can look at it without cringing. It's still a bunch of holes up and down her arms and looks pretty painful. You can find this "wtf worthy" and still be aware that it's for photography purposes or something of that nature only.

[–]Karmakerosene -2 points-1 points ago

Oh, I agree that it can be cringe-worthy. I've seen this photo elsewhere and the first time I saw it, I definitely cringed. It's mostly the title I have a problem with, because the person who posted this seems rather intolerant of body mod. I see how this could be "WTF" but rude comments by ignoramuses are not needed.

[–]deannapolis 1 point2 points ago

Also, why do people assume that the ones who have body modifications have daddy issues? It's like just because they don't understand the point of body mods they feel the need to jump to conclusions. It's really annoying.

[–]LykDisIfUcryerrytime 9 points10 points ago

Not trolling, genuinely serious and curious. What is the point of body mods?

[–]VernonLittle 1 point2 points ago

There's all sorts. I always liked getting pierced 'cause it felt good. The piercing itself was painful but I'd get a rush for a while afterwards. I also was into the adornment factor -- it's jewellery.

I can't really speak to tattoos, but I think it's the same for most people. The act is quite powerful, and there's something to remember the experience by. People like to wear art by good artists, as good art is beautiful.

Plastic surgery, I think, speaks for itself. I don't think that people really like the experience of it so much as the result. I don't have any real experience with this other than a friend of mine who's pretty heavily into body modifications wants to get a boob job before the year is out, so not so much of a sample size there.

As for these temporary and more 'extreme' piercings like in the picture? I again think it's the same. It's got to be one hell of a rush, and the aesthetics can be pretty neat, if that's your thing. Plus they come out at the end.

If you have a professional doing the actual work, and you're willing to care for the work, all of these things can be really safe. I'd be more worried about anyone going under general anaesthetic for plastic surgery than any of the other kinds.

I'm not an expert at all on this stuff, so someone will probably rush in to correct me, but that's my take atm.

[–]armik 0 points1 point ago

I have body mods and I'm covered in tattoos. My dad is my greatest hero and I love my mom to death (she signed off on my first piercing when I was a kid).

I just always knew I wanted tattoos and piercings. I think I was 8 when I told my parents that one day I would have it all done (20+ years ago).

[–]Karmakerosene 0 points1 point ago

I hate that. I have body mods and sure, I hardly knew my biological father, but my step-dad has always acted as a father to me and I have no issues when it comes to my real dad or step-dad. I have perfect mental health, as do most other people who enjoy and get piercings and/or tattoos.

[–]deannapolis 0 points1 point ago

Same here. My dad is wonderful. I modify my body because I want to, not because of something that might have happened in the past.

[–]Zao1 2 points3 points ago

"Get educated"

rofl.

Are we that politically correct where stabbing yourself with knives is seen as a lifestyle choice instead of a mental disability?

[–]fetal_infection 4 points5 points ago

First off, needle play falls under a lifestyle choice of masochism. As long as it isn't self harm, it is okay. Get over yourself.

[–]47toolate 1 point2 points ago

So tell me, how can the act of inserting metal skewers thru the folds of skin on your arm NOT be considered a form of self-harm ? Isn't a masochist one who delights in suffering and pain in others and ones self?

[–]EmptyAndFrantic 1 point2 points ago

Uh, even if it's self-harm it's okay.

[–]penjarvith -1 points0 points ago

It's not wtf, it's just wolverine and his adamantium skeleton

[–]Sir_Clyph 0 points1 point ago

His? Did you see those legs?

[–]HayHaxor 1 point2 points ago

Plot Twist: Thats OP

[–]lookattheduck 1 point2 points ago

Reminds me of Tetsuo: the Iron Man.

[–]Rudickulus 1 point2 points ago

I'd hit it. She could keep those in too.

[–]mrdiegoboy 0 points1 point ago

Baraka Wins! FATALITY

[–]Samuelcolt 1 point2 points ago

I did the same... WITH MY FUCKIN' COCK!

[–]Konsack 0 points1 point ago

Well that escalated quickly

[–]OfficialVerification 0 points1 point ago

OMG, I can feel the pain....

[–]SketchNbeans 0 points1 point ago

Jesus, I had a really vivid dream where everyone just went about their lives with these, and I opened this up and was like "Holy shit! It wasn't just a product of a mind slowly losing its grip! Hurray!"

[–]iamnotfromtexas90 -1 points0 points ago

he has huge needles in his arm. that's wtf is wrong.

[–]deannapolis 0 points1 point ago

Good for you.

[–]LORDJEW_VAN_CUNTFUCK 0 points1 point ago

I'd fuck her.

[–]FearMeForIAmDan 1 point2 points ago

I think that this is what she might have done. SFW, not disturbing at all.

[–]GreenSource 1 point2 points ago

If Wolverine was spontaneously generated in our reality, he would be this kind of fool with added hero complex..thoughts that taint your childhood are bad, and i feel bad.

[–]MANTISxB 0 points1 point ago

I do that every tuesday morning

[–]Finalpotato -1 points0 points ago

That's not how you do acupuncture...

[–]useryourname 0 points1 point ago

A devoted Wolverine fan

[–]bangbangbenny 1 point2 points ago

Is it wrong that I still would??? Love a bit of danger in the bedroom!!!

[–]tylertime98 0 points1 point ago

Her claws are too short.

[–]Brings_Up_Cumbox 0 points1 point ago

What're you looking at, bub?

[–]boblak 1 point2 points ago

Glad Storm is my personal fave. Halloween is a lot less painful for me.

[–]Liveware -1 points0 points ago

Add a motor/device for moving the spikes and you have wolverine...

[–]EmptyAndFrantic 1 point2 points ago

I dunno. I think it looks like fun and it probably feels cool too. I'd get something like this done if I knew how and was sure the scars after wouldn't be too bad.

[–]td27 0 points1 point ago

This is my worst nightmare

[–]RzK 0 points1 point ago

Dont mind me, just trying to eat

[–]spectraskullsplitter 0 points1 point ago

Would not want a handjob from her.

[–]d1g1t4ld00m 0 points1 point ago

[–]just_some_gomer 1 point2 points ago

i'm no doctor, but my diagnosis is that all the metal in the arms is what is wrong here

[–]Lexxxapr0 0 points1 point ago

Now imagine if she fell and tried catching herself

[–]GentlemenQuinn 0 points1 point ago

I actually think her right arm looks kind of cool. I wouldn't do it myself, but it's pretty neat regardless.

[–]party_thighs 0 points1 point ago

reminds me of corset piercings.

[–]KorpisthePorpoise 0 points1 point ago

REPOST

[–]redhatGizmo 0 points1 point ago

at first i thought it was a mannequin

[–]sallydreams 0 points1 point ago

I don't care out temporary those kinds of piercings are... gross.

(I say this and I have quite a bit of tattoos and have had a piercing or two. I'm not saying body modifcation is ugly, just certain extremes aren't sexy to most people, such as this.)

[–]ssjaken 0 points1 point ago

Dat gap.

[–]DonovanGypsy 0 points1 point ago

The caption is too hilarious to me.

[–]Lemonanyway 0 points1 point ago

Looks cool. Like Wolverine only different. I wonder whether it heals?

[–]theang 0 points1 point ago

If you do this you better have health insurance for the antibiotics you'll need.

[–]live_mas_drink_dew 0 points1 point ago

My first thought was "Fucking white people. Smh" lol

[–]Magnum86 -1 points0 points ago

Have fun getting an infection.

[–]Almostwonderful -4 points-3 points ago

I'm sorry but if judging people who stick huge pins in their arms for "fun" or "the experience" etc. makes me a bigot then I guess I'm a bigot. This person's flesh looks to be actually rotting on their arm.

I'm not going to sit around judging people all do for every tattoo or piercing they get but at some point survival instincts should kick in before people run around cutting their arms and legs off and shit(yes some do). No, I would not hire this person for ANY job.

[–]RickyAcid 2 points3 points ago

a) This person has had those piercing sin for all of ten minutes, so I really doubt they're "rotting"

b) She took them out after half an hour, she isnt going to interviews with these in.

[–]spectacularfreak 1 point2 points ago

I doubt they'd come into a job interview with those in.

[–]CerpinTaxes 4 points5 points ago

Yup you're a bigot alright.

I'm glad you recognized it.

The next step is realizing that just because you personally find something frightening and don't understand it, doesn't mean others are terrible people for doing it.

[–]Almostwonderful -1 points0 points ago

Are we going to have a rights movement now for all the people who stick huge needles into their arms for no apparent reason? How about all the people discriminated against because they amputate their perfectly good limbs? I'm an open minded guy but at some point I have to frown on certain things and think "maybe that's not the best idea." I call it very basic survival instinct. You call it bigotry.

[–]TheTallMoose -3 points-2 points ago

This is such a bad idea, WHY?

[–]deannapolis 6 points7 points ago

Why not? Some people like body mods, some people don't.

[–]shimanteko 1 point2 points ago

Not when you are Baraka.

[–]bumhead81 0 points1 point ago

I think the white fishnet onesy says it all, don't you think?

[–]popsiclelaserbeams -1 points0 points ago

Tetanus?

[–]JLContessa 1 point2 points ago

All I could hear, in my head, was Family Guy’s “Consuela.” ”Nooo. Nooooooooo.”

[–]limpinhome -1 points0 points ago

Let's get an MRI

[–]diminishedfifth -1 points0 points ago

Wtf is wrong with you? Why wouldn't you want to be Wolverine for a day?

[–]NoLegsLunatic -1 points0 points ago

100 downvotes and I'll say something nice about gay people relating to this

[–]bongoboz 1 point2 points ago

Industrial knitting accident?
