Traditionally, a dinner bell was rung when dinner was ready to be served - this man is creatively ringing a large bell (imagine someone ringing a triangle)

Actually it is from an art show not that this is a big deal on the repost side of things but I've seen it before asked the same question and got a link. It's found on YouTube surprisingly under dinner bell. Hope it helps
