I've seen this twice in the past few months, come on. Though I was literally just thinking about this earlier today, going into depth about it.

To the non cat owner, this is an "Aww, how cute" moment. But to the cat owner.... We know there is nothing kind about this. That there is the vicious cat death grab, coupled with an almost-bunny death kick. The cat is not hugging that toy, it's trying to murder it.

At the same time, the lack of other signs of aggression and the slow movement implies play-fighting - something sibling kittens/young cats do as part of bonding and vital practice, meaning this may still be a well-intentioned movement from the cat and still 'aww'-worthy in some way.

If you're not bleeding profusely from deep cuts and puncture wounds by the end of it, the cat wasn't trying to attack you. If the cat wants to attack for real, it will truly fuck you up.

I'm a petroleum engineering student, I know exactly what it means in great detail. I had a typo earlier where I used viscous instead of vicious. People were pointing it out so I edited it and stuck in that little quip.

It's a fluid's (liquid and gas) resistance to flow. I had a typo where I put viscous instead of vicious. That's why that edit is there.
