When I was 18 I didn't have a job, I was taking 20 credit hours per semester, it sure felt like a job, LOL

Especially when my degree was mechanical engineering, I regret taking so many hours... I had no life...

Also, most 18 years old don't have a job because they are full time college, and steadily accruing debt until they find a minimum wage position because they decided to only get an associates degree.

I don't know how it is exactly in your country but where I live with 18 you are in university (only doing side jobs) or doing an apprenticeship (which doesn't count as a real job imho). So people with a job at that age aren't a real catch as a lot of them will probably work minimum wage for the rest of their lives.

I am also pretty sure that in the US, and I think I am not reaching to far assuming that you live there, there are plenty of good reasons why you don't have to have a job at 18 and still can be successful.

Oh and please post your next reactiongif in the proper subreddit as stated in the sidebar.
