So he sits down on a tiny little ledge on the side of a cliff. His nervous breakdowns are not like my nervous breakdowns.

Yeah, I know. I saw some stuff about the free soloing he does, which is absolutely crazy. If I had a nervous breakdown at that particular spot (frankly, I'd have had one much sooner) I'd just fall off the wall.

It blows my mind that people can act so irrationally. I agree with you 100% - I'd fall as well. I've heard that acrophobia isn't really the fear of heights: I mean, how often are you walking along and suddenly sway to the side? Never. How easily can you stand still without tipping over? Very. So when you're standing on a ledge the subconscious fear is that you'll choose to fall.

Seriously...I remember watching this and you could just feel his demeanor change when he reached that spot. Unbelievable how he recomposed himself and calmly powered on. His mental fortitude is just astonishing.

There's a couple ways to do it. Either hand traverse or foot traverse it
