I'm sorry to say it bud, but the casual market is MASSIVE compared to the "hardcore" market. The consumer base that is dedicated also happens to be the ones who will bother to comment, but is tiny compared to the casuals. Always has been always will be in any game forum or life aspect.

Because the same 20 pictures of cats don't end up on the front page every couple months. The big subreddits have really been going downhill lately, which is why I barely bother commenting in /r/funny or /r/pics, etc. anymore.

Now I'm not subbed to /r/aww, but using the same logic that happens everywhere else, the same 20 cats could easily hit the front page every few months. It seems like the same funny pics in /r/funny get posted every now and again too. Sure, I've seen them, that doesn't mean I'm going to go and say nobody else is allowed to see it. The reason I see things going downhill is because of people saying not to repost, and causing others to try and come up with their own OC, 90% of which sucks.

The amount of upvotes on the post show how many logged in voters enjoyed it. This is a small amount of the redditors, but statistically, the amount of upvotes is the quality of the image. You may think it's sucky, but depending on the repost, you may be the minority.
