Running through the E4 with an amulet coin

Isn't there a better item in SS/HG, something incense, that doubles the earnings if you use the pokemon? Remember giving it to my ampharos and walking away from the E4 with 80k+

Edit: Just realised they're both double, wonder if it stacks, give 1 to each of your strongest and end up with quadrupled.

Just today I discovered that Sevault Canyon in FR/LF is another great place for this. There is probably 12 trainers and they give you 4-7k each with the amulet coin.
