Was at a minor league baseball game a couple years back. We were drunk and giving the left fielder hell. Between innings the mascot drove by on a golf cart throwing balls in the stands. I watched this full grown adult snatch a ball out of an autistic boy's hands very similar to this gif. I went directly over to security and told them what happened. They asked the lady to give the boy the ball, she declined. Security then asked the boy if she had snatched the ball from him and he said yes. They immediately escorted her out as people in the section boo'ed her on her way out. After this, my friends' and I were determined to get the boy another ball, so instead of heckling the left fielder the next inning we yelled the story of what had happened to him (we were in the first row behind the left field wall. Keep in mind that the left fielder was playing in a professional baseball game and never acknowledged our existence, we didn't even think he could hear us). At the beginning of the last inning when he ran out onto the field to warm up, he brought us a ball signed by every player on the team that was in the dugout and asked to throw it to the boy personally. One of the best nights of my life.
