I haven't seen the Wire, but I've heard from multiple sources that it is one of the best shows that TV has ever aired -- it's awesome to hear that Breaking Bad has surpassed even the Wire.

Breaking Bad is definitely amazing, but nothing will ever surpass the third and fourth seasons of The Wire for me. That being said, nothing comes close to challenging Breaking Bad's grip on second.

I'd say The Wire is better, like, historically speaking I guess, but I definitely like and enjoy watching Breaking Bad more. If that's even a real distinction - that's just the way I look at the two shows. Kind of apples and oranges even though they both deal with crime/drugs and such.

I don't care about most of the other characters, or at least I do, but recognize that they've done terrible things and that they are probably going to end up paying for them, but I really hope Jesse makes it out okay. He went from being a ghetto wannabe wiseass to someone you really feel bad for. The other characters may be alright with what happened, but I think the kid is the last straw and Jesse is about to want out.
