A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

It was a great game, far superior to Dino Crisis 2+3, but I wouldn't call it the best horror game.

The part that really was scary as a kid was when the T-Rex burst throw that large glass window.

For me that made it really scary is when you could hear the raptors but never saw them.

But who can forget when you blocked them behind those lasers, making you feel so proud you were quick enough?

Can't forget the lasers, taunting them because you know they can't get to you, but when you turn around and go down the corridor....

Tyrant and nemesis freaked me out more. Damn those guys never dying and constantly appearing.

You didn't have the Silent Hill then :)

No, I was about 8 years old when I played this, it put me off of all horror games for a long while. It was brilliant XD

It has to be either RE2 or Silent Hill for me.

Fatal frames has to be the scariest, Silent hill the best horror game and resident evil best survival horror. Grew up loving these types of games but they have been lacking in recent times. With better graphics, sounds and a greater amount of immersion that comes with todays gameplay, I'm suprised nothing has blown all these classic games away. Maybe I'm just desensitized now

No, your right there, the big games companies are simply creating games that people are used to and that will sell quickly, so no new ideas for games really make it through to production, its such a shame as well because for the most amount of people I have talked to would love a free roaming zombie game and even them, it took "modders" to create this using ARMA2 as a base to work with.
