He makes the league a balls ton o' money. I like to relate this to the video game industry; the league is so intent on gaining new "casual" fans than it takes it's focus away from the "hardcore" fan. The hardcore fans feel ignored and don't like the direction of the league but the league itself is booming. Now, just like games, the league is trying to use its power to push everyone around.
