Yeah, it takes a lot to kill brain cells and drinking alcohol doesn't. I took "Alcohol, Drugs, and Behavior" last semester and I'm just relaying the information because I used to think that it did as well but my professor told us that it is a common misconception. Like how drinking hard liquor after (or before? can't remember...) beer is supposed to make you extremely sick... alcohol is alcohol.

You're absolutely right! The first topic we discussed as a class during lecture was how poorly named the class was. Alcohol is a drug and therefore the class's name is redundant. Our first question on our midterm was "Is alcohol a drug?" lol

Liquor before beer, everything clear. Beer after liquor, never been sicker.
That's the quote.
Everyone seems to get it wrong that it has to do with the way the alcohol reacts with you or something.
But the quote is because after a few beers, taking shots in a lot smoother, so you drink more and more and then vomit.

Practice on two nights (a few days apart).

Take 4 shots, then drink beer until you cant and see how you feel in the morning.
On the next night, Drink 4 beers then do shots and you'll see you drink much more liquor.

It's not about liquor and beer mixing at different times, but your dumbass drunk self saying "hey we can drink more than that."
