Demonizing sex and physical intimacy is bad. That behavior comes from a place of feeling objectified or stereotyped. So what's the solution to this? I'm not going to shell out some horseshit advice about proper courting behavior and being open and engaging. But you should at least listen to one another and take a bit of time to think about where those perspectives come from.

I don't know your circumstances from anyone else's. A short post on the internet isn't going to reveal much about your entire experience with me. But I will say this—the key to being a perfect companion is to you ask yourself, "does my way of thinking undermine another's in a way that places them in a position of feeling over-powered?", and also, "does this person respect my autonomy?"

As long as you are deeply cognizant and engaged with one another, this shit should go away. It sounds dumb, but I think a lot about the biological creature. It's the selfish hormonal human—male or female. I kind of think that human physiology sort of hates social progression.
