The slopes do not match up. They look like they do to the human eye, but there is really a small sliver of empty space running across the rectangle diagonally

Somebody posts this every week, The sections do not add up completely, pretty much along the entire diagonal line, the squares are only 80% the size of the rest of the squares.

It's especially not wtf material.

No, its the opposite, they do not fit perfectly together, as the diagram would show- there is a small gap between the top and bottom half of the second diagram, and where it doesn't look like it could be much, the size of the whole gap is exactly one square.

IF letutin could show us a mathematical proof (rather than an optical illusion) then I think people would be more impressed (but still shoot it down)
