And probably yet another double standard in that if it were a man in the first panel saying that, he'd probably get the same reaction as in the second panel.

Note- while the comic's focus is on the sexuality of boys v. girls (if you want to look that deep), my opinions stand because I think baby bodies are kinda wrinkly and gross. Never had a kid myself, but they just look... alien. Until they get a bit older of course, then I don't care. Like akrabu, who made a great long comment on his comfortability with nudity, I'm pretty lenient in the clothes/no clothes area- but babies just look funny to me.

[–]kragmoor 1 point2 points ago

i agree on the alien thing. they are weird looking inhuman blobs of various liquids until about 7 1/2 months

Maybe I just live with more progressive people but where I come from most people would just view it as a cute naked baby and don't really have a problem with very young children being naked. If the children were older then they would get pissed off.

Seriously! I can't believe that people who are educated and enlightened enough to see a lack of gender equality where society says there isn't any are having a hard time accepting the human body for what it is.

The naked body isn't weird or sexual. It only is because the same people that taught you a bunch of sexist and religious bullshit also taught you to be ashamed of a thing you cannot control and is absolutely fine and natural.

I personally feel that anyone who thinks naked people in any form is weird or overly sexual is willfully ignorant. You motherfuckers should know that you don't have to play along with popular thought, and you FUCKING KNOW THAT HUMAN BODIES ARE NOT WEIRD OR GROSS BECAUASE YOU FUCKING HAVE ONE.

I live in a medium-sized city and I let my 3-year-old daughter run around naked in the backyard which is surrounded by many other houses (apartments.) I fucking hope someone picks this battle with me. I will fucking ruin them. My daughter doesn't know that naked is bad, she thinks it is fun and free, and I will fucking choke people to death to protect her right to feel secure about her body. I won't let these scumbags teach her that her body is bad or so precious that no one can ever see it.

I don't even think some people realize how much sexism is tied up in our culture's views of the naked body. RAAARRR!!!! It makes me angry. I've been dealing with this shit forever. My wife can't share some of the best pics and videos of our children with our friends and family via the internet because no matter where we post it it gets removed. PEDO PANIC!!!

I don't really give a good god damn if a person with a mental disorder gets off to images of my children. How the fuck are any of us ever going to know about it? I'm armed, they won't come steal my children out from under my nose because they saw a picture of their naked bodies on youtube or facebook. When I was a kid I beat off to the ladies modelling underwear for JCPenney, none of them ever found out and wrote me an angry letter or called the cops.

FUCK! Nothing makes me angrier than people trying to perpetuate body shame, or the sexualization of the human body. I'm, not even a nudist really, I wear clothes all of the time because I like them and I don't want my furniture to smell like my balls (very much.)

I realized I piggy-backed this on to a comment I agree with so I aplogize for that srasmus4. This is just where my lid popped off.

.rar and password it, then they cant check contents.

You seem about as fun as my last root canal.

...why?

It is a sign of sickness when a society's taboo is their own bodies.

[–]akrabu 17 points18 points ago

Wait?!!?!?! Why the fuck not? Is all nudity sexuality. You're fucking sick! Who gives a rat's butthole if a baby is naked or anyone else for that matter, but let's start with baby's because they were more recently born completely naked and we remember that more easily.

[–]Fangs78 -1 points0 points ago

Omg

[–]4on6 -1 points0 points ago

I don't understand the hate you're getting. I always hate seeing old naked pictures of me. I can only imagine that others are embarrassed by their old nude baby shots. If it's embarrassing and you can't share it outside of the family, why do it? Take all the pictures you want with your dressed up child. Then you get a "OMG, why did you dress me like that!?" laugh instead of "ugh, please stop showing my new gf my baby bathtub photos".

I think it's better this way for everyone...

[–]akrabu 3 points4 points ago

I make fun of my daughter's weird little vagina all of the time... With my wife, who incidentally doesn't work for CPS.

[–]Arxl 0 points1 point ago

When does cute baby pics end and child pornography start?

[–]Lasthcompany 2 points3 points ago

Three.

[–]ThecoolFox 1 point2 points ago

That made me chuckle i'll admit.

[–]SageInTheSuburbs 0 points1 point ago

I've noticed women usually do that with the baby boys but not the girls: They take pictures with the legs spread wide apart and comment on the penis, doesn't happen as often with baby girls and their genitals. Just an interesting observation, not reading anything into it.

Oh now this is just rediculous. Neither gender can talk about "her little vagina" and then both genders can talk about "his little wee-wee".

The reason it's talked about is because small things are seen as being cute. Even tiny penisis (penises, peni? I don't even know.).
