I don't understand this sudden influx of random imgur posts. If it's on imgur changes are high it has been on Reddit before. Or in this particular case quite a few times even. The least you can do if you play this "game" is to check Karmadecay.

Reposts aren't always bad but can't see the value of "something found on random imgur". If it would be "While doing this random imgur thing I found my big ass nigga brother on a scooter drinking carpi sun. p.s. he's been dead for 15 years and both my parents are white." sure, by all means, post that stuff.

I said reposts aren't always bad but solely posting something without any substance other than "Hey I found this picture which was posted here before" is nonsense. I'm not always on Reddit either but there are some pretty handy tools for those like us Karmadecay for instance..

If you're not always on Reddit (or any other website for that matter) you shouldn't be afraid to miss something. I wonder what your Facebook looks like. Do you repost everything for people who didn't see it the first time? It sounds stupid but it's exactly what it is. Let's look at it from another perspective. What if you check Reddit twice a week and all you see is the same stuff you already saw the first day?

Everybody spends their internet-time differently and that's fine as long as it doesn't bother anyone. Some people don't frequent Reddit that much and some make this their second home. I think it is quite annoying when those people are seeing a great many reposts without any added substance. A repost can happen quite often on a website with such a vast userbase as Reddit. Nothing wrong with that and I agree with you that people get worked up over it quite often.

These "found on randum imgur" posts are different. They aren't posted because somebody just didn't know they were posted before. That's what bothers me.

You could say let the up and downvotes do their thing. And then I would have to completely agree which means I'm effectively shutting my own mouth.
