I do this a lot too (I don't sit at the back of the bus though). Amateur drummer for many years and I do this for two reasons:

  • 1. Compulsion. If the music is good, I want to play it.
  • 2. Sometimes I imagine that some music studio executive is sitting near me and overhears me so he signs me on the spot as a studio drummer.

never understood the whole back of the bus is where the plebs are thing came from. the back is usually quieter abandoned and up higher than the rest of the seats. Tis my favourite seat,
