I understand :) This is an atheist subreddit. The post was made in an atheist forum and I believe that everyone on reddit is automatically subscribed to r/atheism, so I think that may be why you're seeing so much of this. Also, know, that surveys show that most of the people on this subreddit were born in the late 80s and early nineties and that only about 20% of people born into that generation adhere to the teachings of christianity. This is a time where atheism is seeing its first revival. You're going to see a lot more of it over the years, and while they're not perfect, they are not prone to converting people or justifying acts of brutality, authoritarianism and violence, like many adherents of religion have been throughout history.

Everyone knows this is a natural development, whether they are religious or not. It's nothing bad, no sacrificing goats or eating children, just do as the Romans do.
