Look at Trutv. They went from being Court TV and having shows related to Law and Order. They switched to Trutv and they have a bunch of staged "reality" shows.

You know, I actually think he wasn't that bad of a painter, that the blitzkrieg was a brilliant strategy simply over extended, and that the architecture built and designed in Nazi Germany was some of the most awesome buildings built in the last century. I'm also really not a Nazi -- not even a sympathiser!

Just because the guy went nuts and tried to exterminate a race of people, doesn't mean everything he ever did or said is immediately crazy.

Some people should not be allowed to breed, or at the very least not receive the tax incentives to do so.

What state of things? We're still progressing rapidly. We landed a robot on Mars! (I know not the first time, but still in an amazing way.)

We're on the brink of a cure for Cancer and AIDS. There has never been a better life expectancy than now.

I'm a little more optimistic. Not all bad parents rear awful children. If anything, we need to eradicate poor decision making.

Also, I have a mentally retarded uncle who DID breed. Twice. He has 2 mentally retarded children. One is just smart enough to get money out of my uncle every chance he gets. The other, who is borderline mentally autistic is raised by his mother who really only cares that she has money for cigarettes and McDonalds. She could give a fuck less about her son being bathed and at school on time. Here is where my opinion about who should and shouldn't be able to procreate comes into play.

this exists because tv studios dont have to pay these people or the crew that films them nearly as much as they would pay real actors, video and sound professionals, set builders, etc etc.

they are watched because it makes fat, poor, and unemployed southerners feel good about themselves and their own behavior. TLC is shooting for a factor BELOW the lowest common denominator in the 30-80 female southerner demographic...

you know, something I've noticed is other countries seem to kinda acknowledge their stereotypes and poke fun at themselves.
