Woman where is my supersuit!

[–]yousedditreddit 62 points63 points ago

I am your WIFE

[–]DestinyTurtle 69 points70 points ago

I'm the GREATEST GOOD you are EVER gonna get!

[–]CALLMEDARRELL 552 points553 points ago

Haha, awesome.

I honestly wish they'd make a sequel to that movie before Finding Nemo - but to each his own.

[–]SubAtomicPlayboy 576 points577 points ago

I know, the sequel would be Incredible too.

[–]Hurcon1 21 points22 points ago

IT'S TRICKY!

[–]Psythik 4 points5 points ago

I want a sequel to that.

[–]Velirno 2 points3 points ago

Check out SSX on the newer consoles. Not quite as nutty as Tricky, but plenty good.

[–]Ragark 66 points67 points ago

No fucking way, I need the youtube source.

[–]Wooshman 121 points122 points ago

...Um...I hate to ruin your evening, but that's fake.

[–]realigion 67 points68 points ago

Yeah bindings don't work that way.

[–]dwmix 22 points23 points ago

Actually stand in bindings can. Source: was a snowboard instructor for 8 years. Still fake though ;).

[–]blore40 38 points39 points ago

This comment is for the left leg.

[–]MechaNickzilla 16 points17 points ago

I was like "what?"

[–]dodecahedonist 2 points3 points ago

As was I when reading this.

[–]Squirrelson 1 point2 points ago

I was going to comment on that, but as I understand it those kind of bindings are fairly finicky aren't they?

[–]vrrule 81 points82 points ago

I'm a professional rabbit hypnotist and I can confirm this.

[–]achesst 15 points16 points ago

Is there much of a market for rabbit hypnosis? Does it pay well?

[–]TomHUK 81 points82 points ago

Demand is hopping mad right now

[–]vrrule 10 points11 points ago

Oh you!

[–]dwmix 10 points11 points ago

Actually stand in bindings can. Source: was a snowboard instructor for 8 years. Still fake though ;).

[–]blore40 33 points34 points ago

This comment is for the right leg.

[–]MechaNickzilla 19 points20 points ago

And then I was like "ohhhhh."

[–]dodecahedonist 3 points4 points ago

And now I giggled a lot.

[–]draw_art 11 points12 points ago

[–]snacksident -1 points0 points ago

There's even a youtube tutorial teaching you how to use those effects.

[–]jimaug87 2 points3 points ago

Where? I have no keywords to search for.

[–]TheLastPureOne 1 point2 points ago

His legs turn 180 degrees when the board doesn't (after landing). Fake, but cool idea.

[–]BeardedStrangeBatPan 26 points27 points ago

Nyohohohohooo I saw that, Mister/Miss.

[–]rooke2021 11 points12 points ago

[–]Ranch3ro 2 points3 points ago

I would watch it in a dash.

[–]Ceiling_Man 55 points56 points ago

How do you lose the same fish twice?

[–]CraineTwo 86 points87 points ago

Obviously, the second time Nemo accidentally swims to New York while his dad is in Paris.

[–]runsoutofspace 25 points26 points ago

Nemo, you're such a disease.

[–]Zurgy 12 points13 points ago

Dunno, they pulled it off with the home alone movies though. They pulled the same move like 4 times on that guy.

[–]SirZugzwang 18 points19 points ago

You know they made 4 Free Willies? How that big swimmin fool get himself caught 4 times?

[–]adamzep91 23 points24 points ago

I'm convinced the second movie will be entirely within a Home Depot.

[–]TH3_FORC3 4 points5 points ago

They have fish in Home Depot?

[–]earthwormjim22 13 points14 points ago

Hangover 3 : The same shit thrice

Finding Nemo 2

[–]BaconTreasure 4 points5 points ago

Hangover: racist edition.

A.K.A. Hangover 2

[–]Theo93 6 points7 points ago

A.K.A Hangover

[–]collasta 11 points12 points ago

Taken 2 for kids.

[–]Divine_E 7 points8 points ago

My guess is that it isn't finding someone in a litteral sense. I think it will be a movie about Nemo finding himself. You know, where he belongs? Learning about the birds and the bees? Learning the sad facts of life, like how his Dad will die, and that clown fish loose their male genitals later in life, and become female? You know, stuff the audience can really relate to.

[–]GrownManNaked 2 points3 points ago

You have me til

clown fish lose their male genitals later in life, and become female. . . .

. . . .stuff the audience can really relate to.

O.o

[–]nitdkim 8 points9 points ago

I'm more interested in a prequel...

[–]DoesntFearZeus 7 points8 points ago

Jack Jack and his best friend Jacques Jacques (son of Bomb Voyage) get into crazy adventures.

[–]Ironfruit 15 points16 points ago

I absolutely loved The Incredibles, after Toy Story it's my favourite Pixar movie. However for that exact reason I don't want to see a sequel to it. I honestly don't think it would work too well.

I prefer Pixar to do original stuff, that's what their known for. Sure all three Toy Story movies were fantastic but that doesn't mean all the movies are sequel friendly. Finding Nemo could work, and that Monster's Inc. prequel could be OK. Despite this I still think they should map new territory, I want to see Pixar remain at the top of their game (seriously; why did they make a sequel to their least favourably recieved movie).

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points ago

I was under the impression that there was going to be a sequel/prequel, I remember reading about "in the next movie [something about Frozone]..." I guess I just misinterpreted the quotes :(

I had no idea about a Finding Nemo sequal though.

EDIT: This made me visit Pixar's Wikipedia page of upcoming films:

...one film "about the inside of a girl's mind", and The Good Dinosaur, a film about a world in which dinosaurs never became extinct.

I fucking love dinosaurs and time-travel-esque movies, sounds awesome.

[–]rocketvat 1 point2 points ago

Thank you for being honest with us.

[–]Arrak 1 point2 points ago

Why does everyone want a sequel to this movie?

[–]Biron5k 95 points96 points ago

Because it's a fucking awesome movie? I'd rather have that than Ice Age 17.

[–]ModernAlias 69 points70 points ago

Everyone wants a sequel to this movie because the first one did little more than introduce us to the very interesting characters. The conflict in the movie wasn't the villain or that giant robot. The conflict was them being superheros and having to act normal. Now that they've overcome that, they're free to show their talents. And that's where Pixar left them.

Basically, plotwise, we just met Luke Skywalker (the Incredibles), and found out he's a Jedi (they are free to use powers), and that's it. The Empire remains to be defeated, evil needs vanquished and we're left hanging. No wonder everyone wants a sequel.

TLDR-Everyone wants a sequel because The Incredibles have not yet begun to fight.

[–]Quasid 9 points10 points ago

Also, the game tie in for the movie wasn't half bad, especially as far as tie-ins go. I'd like to see another video game come out of it.

[–]Ironfruit 3 points4 points ago

There was another video game that game out of it. Something about Frozone and Mr. Incredible, a direct sequel where they took on The Underminer. I rented it and remember not liking it as much as The Incredibles game.

[–]TearHugger 14 points15 points ago

Ice age 17: Land of the Hippos

[–]Biron5k 8 points9 points ago

Ice Age 18: Fall Out

[–]ChimpanAToChimpanzee 5 points6 points ago

Ice Age 33: Black Mesa

[–]lb31 6 points7 points ago

2 Ice 2 Age

[–]RB94 5 points6 points ago

Well according to the trailer, Ice Age IS the best trilogy of all time.

[–]Tfish 4 points5 points ago

Is it weird to anyone else that those animals in the ice age movies are apparently immortal beings. Considering they lived from the start of the ice age to the end of it. They must be tens of thousands of years old by now.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points ago

Man...Ice Age turned out just like the movie series of A Land Before Time. There was too many of those....too many.

It's getting old, I wish they'd just stop while it's still good.

[–]Blazingcrono 3 points4 points ago

Just so you know, Ice Age is Blue Sky Studios; no connection to Pixar (that I know of) whatsoever.

[–]Biron5k 6 points7 points ago

I never said it was. I was referring to animated series that just need to stop. Like Land Before Time.

[–]gordofrog 16 points17 points ago

Land Before Time 28: Ice Age 2: The Meltdown

[–]mgrandi 11 points12 points ago

and not to mention that they actually SET IT UP for a sequel. finding nemo ended so perfectly, how do you even extend upon that?

[–]AJRiddle 2 points3 points ago

I love it and it is awesome, and it clearly has room for a sequel. I would prefer a whole new movie that is just as awesome instead of a sequel though.

[–]yinja 0 points1 point ago

Actually so would Brad Bird. But it's a matter of waiting for the right story and not preference :P So it's a good thing.

[–]maxxell13 1 point2 points ago

Look up the life history of clown fish sometime. I wouldn't want to see the sequel in which Nemo and his Dad start mating.

[–]namtrix 0 points1 point ago

Wait there really is going to be a finding Nemo sequel? I thought it was some joke.

[–]Soss 125 points126 points ago

I think he's definitely capable of going faster if he has someone to challenge him.

[–]ecce_apostate 118 points119 points ago

Like a horse or a cheetah? Actually, could that be arranged?

[–]loldudester 67 points68 points ago

He adopted a cheetah I think. Don't think he's allowed to race it though.

[–]TmlzMiso 15 points16 points ago

I saw on a tv show in Korea where this guy raced an ostrich. Bolt vs Cheetah make it happen.

[–]MaxAgbyni 5 points6 points ago

He named it Lightning Bolt

[–]rivers2mathews 5 points6 points ago

Man vs. Beast Part II!

[–]thesmallvillehero 13 points14 points ago

Oddly enough during a interview Price Harry mentioned trying to get a horse he part owns named Usain Colt to race Usain Bolt! This article expands on it and says how Usain Bolt is most likely too busy to ever race a horse.. Too busy or scared huh? ;)

[–]staff_sergeant_poop 11 points12 points ago

[–]dubesor86 5 points6 points ago

Sadly even Ursain Bolt (topspeed ~27.8mph/44kmh) would lose against a lot of animals http://www.factmonster.com/ipka/A0004737.html Apparently even domestic cats are faster than Ursain Bolt oO

[–]Tiop 10 points11 points ago

At least distance runners can outrun a horse and anything else.

[–]NoSarcasmHere 8 points9 points ago

IIRC aren't humans as a species pretty good at distance running?

[–]Lampshader 7 points8 points ago

Yes. Our sweat-based cooling system is better than practically every other animal's cooling methods (panting / inferior sweating).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persistence_hunting

I haven't previously heard the claim that long distance runners can outrun horses specifically though.

[–]InvalidWhistle 9 points10 points ago

I agree, it almost seems as if he pulls up before the finish off every single race I've seen. Idk, just my amateur eyes.

[–]Byjohn 1 point2 points ago

I heard that his training partner Blake is as fast or faster then him. It could've just be the commentator trying to get us excited.

[–]Hechtic 168 points169 points ago

How the fuck did Cars get a sequel but this hasnt

[–]ColonelPanic2409 272 points273 points ago

Merchandise for Cars sold extremely well.

[–]adrian783 15 points16 points ago

case in point, front page modded powerwheel, i cant possibly imagine how many powerwheels were sold because of that movie

[–]Sexual_Tiger 35 points36 points ago

I thought Cars and Cars 2 were pretty good...

[–]monocledfalc0n 36 points37 points ago

I liked them too, but apparently our opinions are wrong

[–]aliencat1001 15 points16 points ago

I respect your opinion, even though it's wrong.

[–]Onatu 6 points7 points ago

I definitely liked the movies, it's just that I'd love to see The Incredibles get a sequel before Cars did. Or Finding Nemo. Or even the prequel to Monster's, Inc.

Doesn't mean I didn't like them though. I just believe Pixar needs to get their priorities straight.

[–]emehrkay 7 points8 points ago

I too enjoyed the movies. I'm not overly critical of children's' flicks though

[–]Hechtic 28 points29 points ago

well you were incorrect

[–]BrotherSeamus 11 points12 points ago

Because Brad Bird got it right the first time.

[–]Hechtic 2 points3 points ago

True. Im usually pretty glad when they dont do sequels, and have no doubt I would have bitched about them ruining a perfectly good story along with the rest of the internet. But at this point I actually think there's a lot that could be done with that universe

[–]Mr_Greed 24 points25 points ago

Every time i think of bolt i think of that one scene from the animatrix where the racer runs so fast he sees the matrix.

[–]svullenballe 3 points4 points ago

Without the exploding muscles and all that.

They're not hiding Dash's secret power very well.

[–]arrowheadt 21 points22 points ago

Nor are they hiding their identities at all with those small eye pieces for their masks.

[–]JakeCameraAction 29 points30 points ago

"You think just because I can't see your cheekbones I don't know it's you?"

[–]Sleep45 221 points222 points ago

Did anyone else think elastigirl was hot?

[–]BackflipJohnson 61 points62 points ago

Dat elastic ass.

[–]baronsoontirfel 15 points16 points ago

Dat elass.

[–]TmlzMiso 31 points32 points ago

[–]PartyBusGaming 32 points33 points ago

She can expand any part of her body... she could be hotter if she wanted to.

[–]huntgrav 50 points51 points ago

I do love my vagina's loose, flabby and deep.

[–]Galphanore 11 points12 points ago

And yet she's unhappy with her ass.

[–]PartyBusGaming 4 points5 points ago

That has never made sense to me...

[–]Galphanore 28 points29 points ago

I got the impression that she could reshape her body as she wanted but that if she stopped concentrating on it she's snap back into her "natural" shape.

[–]SaYuOwn 26 points27 points ago

[–]LORDJEW_VAN_CUNTFUCK 2 points3 points ago

Who's the artist?

[–]DirtyMikeballin 74 points75 points ago

some good 'batin right there.

[–]AnAngryFetus 70 points71 points ago

Elastigirl was the mom...

[–]OneCello 119 points120 points ago

I think he was abbreviating masturbating.

[–]AnAngryFetus 52 points53 points ago

Oh, that would make sense. I was thinking he said 'batin as in jailbait. Damn kids and their always changing hip lingo.

[–]Bama011 33 points34 points ago

Dont worry ill get off your lawn soon.

[–]antonvowl 10 points11 points ago

I'm still holding out hope for the bolt/blake/powell winter olympics bobsleigh team.

[–]Fearlessleader85 64 points65 points ago

He really is ridiculous. He just doesn't have to give as much as his competitors in order to beat them.

[–]Andewz111 52 points53 points ago

One of the commentators yesterday in the semi-final heats said "It isn't supposed to be this easy. This is the Olympics. You're supposed to have to try."

[–]Fearlessleader85 4 points5 points ago

Well said. I was unfortunately in a car an then a plane all day during the running, so i didn't get to see any of it.

[–]ominous_anonymous 7 points8 points ago

How so?

[–]Fearlessleader85 53 points54 points ago

Watch the last 10 meters. He's letting up, everyone else is giving it everything they have. He's coasting.

[–]bedrutton 109 points110 points ago

In the trials, yes. In this final? No, he definitiely gave it his all the whole way.

[–]Falcorsc2 39 points40 points ago

why are you being downvoted. in the finals he even dipped his head across the line, which you don't do if you're "taking it easy"

[–]Sandaholic 37 points38 points ago

True, but did you watch last years race? When he beat the world record pretty much walking across the finish?

[–]acmercer 8 points9 points ago

I kinda remember this, but does anyone have the vid or gif?

[–]KillEmAll83 10 points11 points ago

He did something like that in 2008.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-urnlaJpOA

[–]Kadoc 2 points3 points ago

he got the world record in 2009, going 9.58. that was his peak.

[–]Fearlessleader85 2 points3 points ago

The video was apparently not the final? In that video, he certainly coasted.

[–]jonnyrotten7 2 points3 points ago

Coasting? With a world record on the line? Which he didn't even break? Um, no. Getting a world record is just as satisfying, if not more, than a gold. To say that he coasted is ridiculous.

[–]AsDevilsRun 20 points21 points ago

In Beijing:

I was slowing down long before the finish and wasn't tired at all. I could have gone back to the start and done it all over again.

I wasn't worried about the world record. I didn't know it was a record until I finished my victory lap. My one aim was to be Olympic champion."

[–]Fearlessleader85 5 points6 points ago

Watch him. He's smiling and looking over his shoulder. He either gave absolutely everything he had in the first 90 meters and just couldn't turn it on anymore, or he was coasting. I think he could have done it faster.

[–]reddeath27 20 points21 points ago

He already holds the world record.

[–]Sphik 21 points22 points ago

Runners tend to want to improve their own personal bests.

[–]golden_cane 5 points6 points ago

Although I don't think Bolt cares much about that though. It seems he just wants to win.

[–]jonnyrotten7 2 points3 points ago

Yea, I know, but I'm sure he wanted to break his own record.

[–]Chuu 12 points13 points ago

Bolt got a heap of cash every time he broke the WR. Instead of going all out 4 years ago he basically incrementally beat his own WR over time for a larger payout.

[–]Claypool2112 2 points3 points ago

But he didn't beat a World Record in the 100 meter this year...

[–]Dont_PlagiarizeMeBro 1 point2 points ago

due to his height he only needs 41 strides to reach the line. everyone else needs 44. he just does less work.

INTERPRET THAT HOW YOU WISH

[–]Dabrenn 10 points11 points ago

If that were true, all Olympic sprinters would be 7ft tall

[–]Dogmeat36 6 points7 points ago

Work=(force)x(distance) Work!=(force)x(number_of_strides)

[–]Jackmangold 11 points12 points ago

This is so relevant it hurts. Usain Bolt Celebrates Early...Very Early

[–]Dummies102 20 points21 points ago

[–]SpecterXs 34 points35 points ago

wanted the Usian Bolt race video :(

[–]old_righty 3 points4 points ago

You ever have a really great idea for reddit, but don't actually do it, then you see that idea on the front page?

Yeah.

[–]VV01fy 3 points4 points ago

I was thinking today that maybe he purposely slows down near the end so he can keep beating his own world records in the future. He probably gets paid money for each record breaking, as they do with medals. At the very least he can keep up his own branding by continually "breaking" records every year or so.

[–]SneakyDragon 14 points15 points ago

From what movie is this?

[–]Kozer 48 points49 points ago

The Incredibles

[–]Jrodkin[!] 12 points13 points ago

And that movie is... Incredible.

[–]TheSoaringSalami 14 points15 points ago

If you think about it, superhero movies are actually a lot like the olympics. A lot of buff dudes, screaming, and spandex.

[–]CannibalIowa 18 points19 points ago

I wish they sent Olympians out to fight crime

[–]PartyBusGaming 7 points8 points ago

Olympians lack the ability to reflect bullets.

[–]lvnshm 9 points10 points ago

We have that technology.

...do we have that technology?

[–]PartyBusGaming 5 points6 points ago

Well, due to recent cutbacks in R&D... we really don't have the technology.

What we CAN do is tape some pie pans to them. Yeah... that'll work.

[–]lvnshm 3 points4 points ago

I was thinking aerosol adamantium... but yeah, that's a more budget-friendly option.

[–]Ratiqu 3 points4 points ago

Somebody call Cave Johnson.

[–]Dickfore 4 points5 points ago

As far as we know .

Brb

[–]PartyBusGaming 3 points4 points ago

Godspeed, Dickfore...

[–]jamzamurai 5 points6 points ago

I could totally imagine him throwing on one of those masks and bolting off out of the stadium.

[–]ZofSpade 0 points1 point ago

Easily top 3 Pixar.

[–]pbugg2 0 points1 point ago

[–]Ddawg3x 0 points1 point ago

Yes xD

[–]mushmancat 1 point2 points ago

look at that guy enjoying a face full of celebration right there.

[–]kyo3 0 points1 point ago

Having just watched The Incredibles twice, I thoroughly enjoyed this.

[–]Danulas 0 points1 point ago

I believe "Make it close." was the line.

[–]sneakybreadsticks 0 points1 point ago

And then the under miner comes out of the ground! haha

[–]keeper6701 0 points1 point ago

He would have had an even faster world record last olympics if he hadn't let up at the end.

[–]Emilyyycarol 0 points1 point ago

I LOVE THE INCREDIBLES. Why is there not a sequel yet?

[–]Deofol7 1 point2 points ago

I had this exact conversation with my wife last night.

Had I only known that that conversation could have been karma :(

[–]iJeff 0 points1 point ago

I brought this very same scene up when I was discussing Usain Bolt. Great minds think alike.

[–]kds405 1 point2 points ago

I love the message of "The Incredibles". Everyone isn't special, but don't push it.

[–]theodrixx 0 points1 point ago

Whoa. There were guns in that movie.

[–]EyhSteve 0 points1 point ago

It's the camera angle

[–]conley46 0 points1 point ago

haha..his feet might have a nitro

[–]DEATH_BY_AUTOPSY 0 points1 point ago

Nigga be fast as HELL.

[–]KRodgMunneh 0 points1 point ago

Jack Jack in the last frame: "Hey, girl"

[–]passwordabc123 1 point2 points ago

I worry about him, if he runs too fast he might wake up. And no one wants a broken leg.

[–]chickenmelon 0 points1 point ago

Jack Jack is at a [10] in the last frame.

[–]degandl 0 points1 point ago

He's a rather fast black man

[–]bag-o-tricks 0 points1 point ago

Still my favorite Pixar and they're all great.

[–]birthdaaysuit 0 points1 point ago

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!!!!!

[–]JoeBloggins 0 points1 point ago

Using super powers to win sporting events is a dicks move no matter what that movie says. It's like pretending to be retarded so you can win the special Olympics.

[–]voltaek 0 points1 point ago

God damn it. Make the Incredibles 2, already!
