It's basically the legend of zelda but in a 3d world where everything is made of tiny blocks that explode when kill/destroy it. It's a pretty damn fun game is what it is.

It's hard to put into words. It starts off very much like the orginal NES Legend Of Zelda in that you're a wandering hero with a sword and shield, and kinda mixes RPG and Legend of Zelda 2 elements in as well (magic, etc). Just like Zelda, there are dungeons, and there are a lot of throwbacks and inside jokes relating to RPG games. The style is what's unique: Its basically like this post, 3D style pixels. The awesome thing is you can design, pixel by pixel, your own character, or pick/edit from some pre made ones. It's very fun, and one can usually find it for cheap. Basically, if you liked original NES Legend of Zelda, you'll likely have fun with this game.

I felt it was more of a spin off, like Super Mario RPG was to Super Mario Bros. I wasn't expecting it to have the golden RPG elements like Paper Mario, I expected more of a fusion arcade and RPG. I think too many people bought the game expecting Paper Mario 3 and were disappointed to find that it was different.

As someone who hasn't played the others in the series except Super Paper Mario, as a standalone game I thought it was pretty good. That and Super Mario Galaxy are by far some of the best games on the Wii to this day I think. (my personal opinion)

There appears to be one line (assuming you can move on three different lines from what the enemies appear to be doing) that has no/very few enemies. It's hard to tell but it's that line under the platforms.

Isn't Super Mario Bros. 2D and sidescrolling. I know there are 3D sidescrollers, but Super Mario Bros isn't one of them, as far as I know.

I actually really want this. Where the gameplay is identical to SMB and included in a little window but you get a first-person view of everything. It's probably surprisingly doable, since people have already recreated the original code and all the 3D positions would come directly from that.
