I wasn't trying to reprimand or anything, it was a great job over all.

It's just amazing how flipped these situations get.. They are worried about us not having any boundaries to stop us from raping/hurting other people.. Meanwhile their god is ordering them to do the stuff they are afraid we might do.

In theistic religions, you are accountable to the invisible man in the sky. If you tell him you're sorry, all is forgiven, and you can be guilt-free.

In atheism, you are not accountable to some invisible being. You are accountable to the person whom you have harmed, and accountable to them alone. You can tell them sorry, and they may choose to forgive you or not to. The guilt is yours to bare, and you will not be guilt-free until you have been held accountable in your eyes, and in the eyes of the person/people you harmed.

In the beginning I was accountable to my mom and dad. They sent me off into the world with incredibly strong values. Then i was accountable to myself. I lead by example and treat people the way that I want to be treated. Now I have a family. I am accountable to society. I need to make sure that my children grow up with all the wonderful and strong values that my mother and father gave me. It's hard work, but I think I'm doing ok.

Deuteronomy 22:28–29 “If a man meets a virgin who is not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found, then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may not divorce her all his days." This basically says that if I rape a woman, I need to pay the father silver and must be married. I can get away with rape :D And all the other stuff, If I was "saved" (Which is a loop-hole of them saying "Jesus died for my sin. Therefore Im going to heaven") then theres no point of not trying not sin anymore because we are ALL "saved". So this facebook post your douchebag friend send you is.... Pointless and invalid. atheism: believing that if you can get away with it, it must be ok. that includes rape, robbery, murder, torture, pedophilia, tax evasion; racketeering, theft, arson, embezzlement, drug distribution; kidnapping, lying, cheating, etc.

fortunately, atheists know that there will always be at least one person they will be accountable to: themselves, there is no way they can ignore what they have done, so if they do something wrong they know they'll not be able to get away with it.

If the only reason they can think of to be good is that a being rewards you for being "good" then they are the one with no morals. If they were to wake up one day no longer believing in a god, they would be the one likely to go on a killing spree, not the atheists who already don't believe in a god.
