I had never even heard of the existence of a place called Chick-Fil-A until a couple of weeks ago. Don't have them in Canada, which is good, because the food looks delicious.

My thoughts are that Chick Fil-A is a franchise, and that boycotts hurt individual franchise owners in party-dominated areas significantly more than they hurt the owner of the whole chain. And here's the thing, the Chick Fil-A franchise owners in left-dominated areas are, for the most part, pro-gay rights. There are much more effective ways of combating the legislation than pretending to be doing something helpful that in reality accomplishes nothing good. Unfortunately, people are too quick to point fingers to actually look at what is being directly accomplished.

It's hard to believe it when people say they haven't heard of chik-fil-a until now, being from the good ol republican, god-fearin white-folk south.
