When I surf the mobile site on my Android phone, I press the link until the option to open in a new tab comes up. Then when I'm done I just press the back button and the new tab closes, bringing back the tab with Reddit exactly where I left off.

Good for when you close a tab, but not when you exit the program.

Close that window and see how much nothing happens when you hit Ctrl + Shift + T. Reopen Chrome and then do it, still nothing.

No, I understand you 100%; you obviously can't read very well since I made it clear before. That screenshot was after I closed out of Chrome completely. Try it again, works for me.

I did try it again. You neglected to mention that you have to open a new tab for that to work.

Like I said, you can't just reopen Chrome and hit Ctrl + Shift + T. You also have to open a new tab in the reopened window before Ctrl + Shift + T works. You must forgive me, as I can't know all the steps you took from a screenshot.

hmm, the new tabbed window is from pressing Ctrl+Sh+T. Maybe it's due to different versions of Chrome. Either way, I guess Ctrl+T followed by Ctrl+Sh+T would be your solution :P

Thank you for letting everyone know (me included :-) ) that it can be done that way though. I always hated opening a new tab, then going down to the bottom right to the "Recently Closed Tabs" link/button and clicking on it.

Hiding only works for a week then it automatically unhides. Auto hide on vote will not work on archived posts because you cannot vote on them.

You can just alter the URL to go directly to the page you were on. There are usually 25 posts per page. So if you were on page 11, just do 11*25 = 275 and add this to the url:

www.reddit.com?count=275

Voila.
