Nobody locks me in my house but me, and that was accidental.

[–]Homletmoo 1 point2 points ago

I once locked myself out with no shoes or socks, and a guitar. I am not a clever person.

[–]Kerwin15 1 point2 points ago

You must be right because I have you tagged as "Always Right".

Romney 2013

[–]Kerwin15 1 point2 points ago

I know the election is this year and I'm voting independent, but I guess I've got to vote for Romney next year.

[–]Squatso 0 points1 point ago

No, see, Obama will win in 2012 and then Romney will take office by force in 2013 after he rallies a bunch of assholes in the Midwest.

[–]tehvagcanno 39 points40 points ago

Is..is that Britta?

[–]pineapplemushroomman 22 points23 points ago

the dancing is WAY WAY WAAAAY to good

[–]fauxromanou 1 point2 points ago

Yeah, definitely not pulling a Brita.

[–]QuickPhix 12 points13 points ago

No, this is apparently from "Knallerfrauen" which looks to be a German sketch comedy show.

[–]IndubitableGentleman 4 points5 points ago

Tehvagcanno really Britta'd that guess.

[–]MylonLeFevre 5 points6 points ago

And by Britta'd you mean made an honest mistake that anyone else would have made, right?

[–]IndubitableGentleman 0 points1 point ago

The term "Britta'd" comes from the show Community, in which Britta (the character Tehvagcanno is referencing) is a primary character. Britta's friends come up with the term in reference to Britta's constant mistakes and malapropisms. Tehvagcanno appears to be a fan of the show Community, and I assumed that he would find the use of "Britta'd" to be humorous and appropriate in this situation, finding a kindred spirit in a fellow Redditor. Of course, even if he were truly offended by the use of the word it would be no skin off my nose, as this is the internet and nothing that happens here actually matters. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go finish a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats.

I'm going to pull my Community card out and say you need to rewatch that episode to get my reference :)

Haha, damn, you got me. I just wanted an excuse to make a really long, winding comment.

[–]jeffhughes 3 points4 points ago

Dude, you are SO streets behind.

[–]IndubitableGentleman 2 points3 points ago

I'm the opposite of Batman.

[–]MrNiska 4 points5 points ago

I'm 99% sure that's German comedian Martina Hill. I haven't seen this show ("Knallerfrauen"), but apparently she is in it.

[–]muok 3 points4 points ago

I....I...I think it is.

[–]mike_sol 2 points3 points ago

She's the worst

[–]abovetheignorance 14 points15 points ago

Am I missing something, or shouldn't we be locking women in the house after seeing this?

[–]thescribblery 12 points13 points ago

Are you accusing all women of being potential dance-molesters? Fuck you, man! I've never dance-molested ANYONE in my life, not even once, and I don't know any women who have. I bet most guys that get dance-molested are just saying that for attention, or trying to get some poor dancing chick thrown in jail. Besides, you know he liked it. FRA forever! [/end lousy satire, awaiting the flames]

[–]sleeplessone 2 points3 points ago

I mean, look what the guy was wearing. He was totally asking for it.

[–]SnowdensOfYesteryear 2 points3 points ago

Pretty decent satire actually. You should take our your disclaimer, it ruins it.

[–]ohsnipsnap 1 point2 points ago

[–]mungchamp 3 points4 points ago

[–]coheedcollapse -1 points0 points ago

Kinda came here to get away from the animated gifs. Why is this being upvoted?

[–]markm88 0 points1 point ago

How long before context is taken out and this is reposted to /r/MensRights ?

[–]chickensh1t[!] 16 points17 points ago

What context?

[–]Gluverty 8 points9 points ago

staged sketch. Not actual behaviour.

[–]Madak 4 points5 points ago

People usually have some pretty strong opinions about comedy involving sexual assault.

[–]Gluverty 0 points1 point ago

Most sketches and comedy acts can get away with it regularly. The only notable public backlash I can think of when Tosh recently just used it as an insult as an attempt to belittle a heckler.
And ofcourse there are always scattered individuals who will find fault in any comedy, but in this case, the context of this sexual assault seems well within the bounds of socially tolerated humor.
If the roles were reversed it would be less notable, as much of the humor relies on the atypical portrayal of a female as being sexually aggressive in public, but it would not be condemned as sexually offensive.

[–]fox_wesley 0 points1 point ago

...If the genders were reversed (and this wasn't a comedy sketch), the guy with headphones would be arrested for sexual assault.

Just sayin.
