This game had the chance of being the most rented thing from Blockbuster, but fate had other ideas...

A friends recommended this game to me, so it was rented and played to death.

I went back to try and get an extension on the game when it was due to be returned. Guy scans the case then says to me, "I'm sorry, this game doesn't belong to us. We don't have a record of it at all."

It's freaking unbelievable, but they check my account and it shows that I have nothing rented. The Blockbuster case for the game that clearly says "Rampage World Tour" as well as the "Property of Blockbuster" sticker is on the very cartridge. The game was rented from that very store too. I can still remember grabbing it off the shelf and the rental fee is on the credit card history.

I did the only logical thing - walk out of the Blockbuster with a slightly used, mildly dinged up, Rampage World Tour and kept it forever. Employee didn't even blink when I walked out with it. Almost encouraged me to do it.

No late charges were applied, I checked. Still have the game, might probably be time to play it again.

[–]foloed 39 points40 points ago

All I can say is, score.

[–]chrisd93 26 points27 points ago

Good guy blockbuster employee let him have the game

[–]TheMagicStik 3 points4 points ago

But but but, thats not all you said.

[–]PenisFlyTrap 12 points13 points ago

When my local blockbuster was closing down I rented 3 newish games. Came back a week later to return them. Some manager at the counter. Handed him the games, he scanned them and gave them back. "I am losing my job, so I don't care." Best free games I ever got.

[–]power_of_friendship 8 points9 points ago

That's kind of depressing

[–]rakehurst 0 points1 point ago

Hell yes I rented this game so many times, then went years without playing it before I saw it in a trade in shop. Happiest moment of my life...

[–]FattyMcPatty 0 points1 point ago

I WILL BUY THAT GAME FROM YOU

[–]DeadpooI 0 points1 point ago

I've had this happen at a store called Hastings about 4 times :] I rented dmc4 for $7 and sold it to gamestop for $25 credit!

[–]umpostm 0 points1 point ago

Similar thing happened to me, except it was Oblivion for the 360. I checked the receipt upon getting home, and it just wasn't on there. They never phoned about it either, so I gave a big fuck you to the goodness inside me and kept it.

This was right around when the game came out, so I ended up only paying around 10 bucks for a brand new Bethesda RPG.

10 dollars for countless hours of adventurin', Now THAT was a score.

[–]Anon6942 1 point2 points ago

Someplace, somewhere you owe a hella a lot of late fees.

[–]ArchieBunkerWasRight 0 points1 point ago

At my arcade, you could back spin pennies to get credits for this game.

And I thought I was getting over.

[–]1_upped 83 points84 points ago

[–]srsizzy 18 points19 points ago

Oh my god.

Oh.

My.

God.

I forgot about this part of my childhood.

[–]Vexxxy 8 points9 points ago

[–]Mignion 1 point2 points ago

I love you so much right now.

[–]Snarky30 43 points44 points ago

Take note people: This is how you post. You don't have to do a [Fixed] post. Just put it in the comments.

Nice choice by the way. I played the hell out of Snowboard Kids 1 and 2.

[–]CalvinLawson 1 point2 points ago

Wooh now, that's a little sna....oh.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points ago

[–]garretodle 4 points5 points ago

OH MAN, same here. Played the shit out of that game. Never played the DS version...

[–]tythuy 4 points5 points ago

What there is a DS version ???

[–]FattyMcPatty 0 points1 point ago

All of you are me I swear. Except I went to the video connection.

[–]llorti 1 point2 points ago

Why was it so damn hard to get onto the ski lift!?

[–]snowman334 1 point2 points ago

FUCK YES! Me and my brother used to stay up well past midnight playing this game! Keep in mind this was in elementary school Always rented from blockbuster -- we never bought the fucker; it never occurred to us that we could!

[–]chalkyblock 0 points1 point ago

I would play sick elementary school just so I could stay home and play this game. I never wanted to return it...

[–]AME540 18 points19 points ago

The fights me and my friend got in over whose turn it was to eat the toxic waste and be the flying purple monster...(Vern?)

[–]Mignion 2 points3 points ago

My brother and I fought about the same thing quite a bit when we were younger. V.E.R.N. was the shit! "Violent Enraged Radioactive Nemisis", what a name.

[–]seanaye 1 point2 points ago

and never eat the nuns.

[–]_Gingy 27 points28 points ago

This was one I rented the most. I really have to get around to fixing my N64 and buy this game.

[–]srsizzy 5 points6 points ago

Yeeeeah I just squealed.

[–]bajanga1 2 points3 points ago

Hiccup! Hiccup! Burp! Burp!

[–]Cynicism101 2 points3 points ago

Damn, nostalgia...

[–]_Gingy 2 points3 points ago

You're welcome.

[–]Caveman788 7 points8 points ago

I think I got through 3 levels in glover (maybe). Hard as fuck game.

[–]_Gingy 2 points3 points ago

The glass ball.... gets me every time.

[–]Caveman788 4 points5 points ago

Yeah, trying to pull some shit off and then the asshole bounces the glass ball. "YOU STUPID FUCKING GLOVE WHY WOULD I WANT YOU TO DO THAT?"

[–]JakeThePom 1 point2 points ago

I was terrified of this game.

[–]TheFluxIsThis -1 points0 points ago

It's...uh...wha? I don't know ANYBODY who played that game and actually enjoyed it for an extended period of time.

[–]FlyingMoustache 13 points14 points ago

[–]watashi420 0 points1 point ago

That's awesome, i had totally forgotten about that game.

[–]watashi420 11 points12 points ago

Mine was THIS!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

Four player coop bitches.

[–]perverted_justice 1 point2 points ago

Yes!!

[–]Ag-E 10 points11 points ago

I guess I'm old, then? This is by far my most rented game for any system. In fact, I think I'm going to try to find it to buy it now.

[–]ThePerson98 0 points1 point ago

If it's any help, the game is also on DOS and Windows. I don't know if it'll run on 64-bit Vista/7, but the DOS version will definitely work fine under DOSBox.

[–]iDainBramaged 1 point2 points ago

If I remember correctly there was a red lawn mower in this game right?

[–]theflyingburritto 0 points1 point ago

I have a copy for sale. Picked it up last week.

[–]maybepants 9 points10 points ago

I loved Mario Golf.

[–]KevRose 0 points1 point ago

Whow as your char? I think I was always baby mario!

[–]DBSOempathy 8 points9 points ago

Never had a N64. War of the Monsters was my top rental.

[–]GrizzlyAdams90 0 points1 point ago

Oh man, I think ps2 wise. This was my most rented. I loved the shit out of this game. I don't think I ever unlocked all the characters.

[–]Blu3Joker1477 0 points1 point ago

Aghhh!! This game, holy shit it was good!

[–]bionicjawa 8 points9 points ago

Clayfighter. Best. Rental. EVER. Fuck ya 90s. http://i.imgur.com/zVURu.jpg

[–]dismal626 0 points1 point ago

ULTRA TURBO!!

[–]BrainDrill 11 points12 points ago

[–]Caveman788 3 points4 points ago

BMX XXX. Mom had no idea.

[–]PyroConnery 4 points5 points ago

Clayfighter 63 1/3.

[–]StixOButter 3 points4 points ago

[–]abeatgeneration 2 points3 points ago

Yes! I was too young to really understand how to play and progress but I bombed the shit out of the buildings with the missiles.

[–]JangusKhan 2 points3 points ago

I honestly played this game for about 3 days with minimal sleep or sun exposure. Played it to the point that thinking about it makes me nauseous.

[–]spdr1289 3 points4 points ago

Awesome game! I would always rent this when friends came over so we could destroy the world together.

[–]ragtop89 0 points1 point ago

[–]Dx2x 2 points3 points ago

Mine had to be either Battletanx or Gauntlet Legends.

[–]TheFluxIsThis 2 points3 points ago

BLUE. WIZARD. NEEDS FOOD. BADLY.

[–]cptstupendous 1 point2 points ago

Here's mine.

I preferred the English, but would also play as the Japanese and Mongols. Never did play the Arabs or Indians because their troops seemed kinda weak.

[–]spacespeck 4 points5 points ago

There is a Rampage movie planned!

[–]Pwoshi 12 points13 points ago

It's not going to be different at all!

[–]Kuskesmed 2 points3 points ago

Just monsters smashing buildings and eating humans.

[–]Spleen_Muncher 4 points5 points ago

I'd watch that for 2 hours.

Fuck the haters.

[–]PyroNips 1 point2 points ago

This game was is so awesome

[–]ballerstatus89 0 points1 point ago

Ugh. I want to buy that game now.

[–]bardard 0 points1 point ago

I must've rented Super Mario RPG a dozen times before my parents finally bought it for me.

[–]PointClickDelete 1 point2 points ago

HA DUDE I remember playing this game in 2003 with a couple of my friends

[–]codemonkeh 0 points1 point ago

One of the only 64 games that I still own :'D

[–]instant_lunch 0 points1 point ago

That was the first N64 game I ever owned.

[–]johnsweber 1 point2 points ago

Both Final Fantasy II and Zelda: A Link to the Past. Until I finally owned them, I would always just play other people's save files. I had no idea what the stories were about, I just liked casting Quake and using all their items. :p

[–]Krypt0night -1 points0 points ago

I was just a child. It was Thanksgiving which means that there was no school for a few days and that meant a rented video game. Just one, though. Upon browsing for about an hour the day before, I landed on this one to rent. Big monsters destroying buildings looked fun enough. I didn't have enough time to play it that night, but when I woke up that morning, it was the first thing I put in while my mom cooked the meal. Thus started my first experience with this amazing game. I played for hours, ate my meal quickly, and then played for hours more. I only regret that I never got to purchase it, but damn did I play the shit out of it.

[–]in10city420 0 points1 point ago

This was my most rented N64 game too! haha

[–]pmartin0079 0 points1 point ago

yesss...can anyone confirm if this game actually ever ended??? I swear I would play that game for days on end and it just kept on going

[–]MikeHenry 3 points4 points ago

It did end, my brother and I would sit and play this game for hours upon hours. I think it ended somewhere around level 150? You end up going into space and destroying cities there.

I miss being Ralph, my brother was always Lizzie

[–]34Heartstach[S] 0 points1 point ago

It ended when your N64 crapped out. Damn, games back then had so much quality.

[–]pmartin0079 2 points3 points ago

LITERALLY days of nonstop gaming....good times

[–]34Heartstach[S] 0 points1 point ago

You look at most peoples Steam profiles, (including my own) most games are played for a few hours and that's it. I would buy a game back then and just play it all the time for months before I asked for a new one.

[–]Sir_Herp_Derp 2 points3 points ago

That's what I used to do back in the N64 era. I was satisfied with my games and always played them back and forth between getting a new game once in a while and digging up something like Goldeneye or Starfox to replay. I feel like most adventure type games these days don't offer much replay value as I've played the majority of my PS3 games once.

[–]KevRose 3 points4 points ago

Starfox 64. It's a fucking hour long game if you speed through it, yet I played the fuck out of it for like 5 years. I'll still play it, if I didn't lose it after going to college.

[–]mrennie25 0 points1 point ago

My parents returned the box with the wrong game inside, they told me I keep Rampage, or take my game back. I still have the game with the Blockbuster sticker on the back

[–]instantwinner 0 points1 point ago

Same.

[–]virusoflife 0 points1 point ago

God I loved this game!

The arcade version was much better though.

[–]Doctor_Sauce 0 points1 point ago

I rented Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour for an entire month ($30+) while the Hollywood Video promo contest was live.

Second place prize, totally worth it.

[–]stizdizzle 0 points1 point ago

You better have that Rumble Pack son!

[–]lolpancakeslol 0 points1 point ago

Did you guys play the awful Rampage Through Time? That game would have been amazing were it not for the forced co-op and shitty minigames.

[–]johnlocke90 1 point2 points ago

I played to see the naked chick.

[–]ambersamber 0 points1 point ago

Me and my younger brother must have rented this at least 3 times :), goold old days.

[–]LoveOfProfit 1 point2 points ago

Oh fuck. I totally forgot about this game (and the original Rampage).

Both were so cool.

[–]ZephyrBox 0 points1 point ago

They have this at my local Fuddrucker's.

[–]fazzatti 1 point2 points ago

along with san francisco rush

[–]Lebowski_ 0 points1 point ago

I pulled so many all nighters with my friends playing this game and eating pizza. The best time of my life.

[–]Predator123uk 0 points1 point ago

Just don't be Lizzy. That's my character! And don't use my health and try smash buildings I'm already smashing! - this was a common sibling argument :)

[–]Kwarken 0 points1 point ago

I've been searching for this game for like a year now, I had so much fun playing this!

[–]AxeManActual 0 points1 point ago

Game was the tits. Blockbuster was a magical place when I was young. You would walk in on a Friday or Saturday night and it seemed like half the town was there picking out movies. You would see a lot of friends...it was almost a social experience. I really miss that.

[–]IceCreamKnowsBest 0 points1 point ago

Rampage and Snowboard Kids for sure, but Buck Bumble was the one that I should have just bought. Paid damn near enough on the rentals just for multiplayer with my friends.

[–]M12Domino 0 points1 point ago

Ive spent many hours destroying buildings and eating people on this game

[–]itrainmonkeys 0 points1 point ago

There was something so satisfying about grabbing people out of buildings, gobbling them up, and then smashing the building down.

[–]TacoDinosaurs 0 points1 point ago

This and Rampage 2, I rented for ages until I finally just bought the games. Still have rampage 2, and played through it about 4 times total. This brings back so many memories of my childhood and the other 30+ N64 games I had. Ahhhh the good old days....

[–]Sureiyaa 0 points1 point ago

Never played this one but ran straight for the arcade cabinet every time we went to the local Pizza Hut.

[–]Clovyn 1 point2 points ago

Video store. Early 2000s. Harvest Moon 64 my favorite rental. Only one copy in shop. I always aligned my rental to a weekend: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Able to get 4-5 quality ingame years in those weekends, good times.

[–]heyitsstevefrench 0 points1 point ago

I was always the Rat. No one can fucks with that dude.

[–]Mafsto 0 points1 point ago

See it was only after I blew about $25 worth of quarters on the arcade game that I discovered the N64 version. It was also then that I learned a game on N64 compared to an arcade version has worse sound and graphics.

[–]magicpostit 1 point2 points ago

I have Universal Tour, and it's sitting on our entertainment center above the N64 right now, DKR is the game right now.

[–]Mal08001 0 points1 point ago

i honestly could have purchased this game 2-3 times over with how much i rented it as a child.... not until now have i realized why my parents always looked down upon me whenever i chose that as what i wanted to bring home other than another crappy anime show...

[–]TwiceBakedPotato 0 points1 point ago

I had to have rented Timesplitters 2 so many times before actually buying it. Musta paid triple price for it in all. Definitely worth it.

[–]Katanza 0 points1 point ago

You just went deep into the condemned parts of my brain and unlocked an archive with lost, really early childhood memories I never would have remembered without this post. I nearly just cried with nostalgia. Thank you.

[–]BlackStarLine 0 points1 point ago

HELL YES

[–]beatsbyaaron 0 points1 point ago

It Never Ends...

[–]motoo344 0 points1 point ago

Roommate in college bought a rampage arcade machine, it was pretty cool but not something I get if I knew I was moving a lot...it was not easy to get in that place.

[–]pillsburydoeboy 0 points1 point ago

I just played this game for the first time a couple months ago.. on my original Xbox!

[–]wdillon44 0 points1 point ago

So many nearly forgotten childhood memories were brought back with this photo.

[–]devin241 0 points1 point ago

I remember this as an arcade game at the local roundtable!!

[–]TwEE-N-Toast 0 points1 point ago

I loved this game. Its crazy that this new breed of angry "hardcore" internet age gamer would look down their nose at this and call it casual. Whatever the hell that means.

[–]Quatroking 0 points1 point ago

I got this one in a plastic protection case, original box with original manual. Still plays like new and is one of my most played N64 games.

[–]JupiterIII 0 points1 point ago

YES YES UPVOTE x1000 I played this game so damn much. Between this and Starfox64, my time was well spent.

[–]HereForCOD 1 point2 points ago

It was all about that Diddy Kong Racing. So much better than Mario Kart.

[–]Bruce_Millis 1 point2 points ago

Mine was Shining Force 1

[–]RxMario 0 points1 point ago

That game is awesome.

[–]c3h8o2 0 points1 point ago

hey i remember seeing those guys some where before 9/11 conspiracies

[–]Hatweed 0 points1 point ago

I finally f*cking beat that game. 100 levels of the same thing can really start to mess with you after a while. I even figured out a special move. If you climb to the top of a building, jump and press and hold down+punch, it'll destroy an entire floor. Saved me hours of gameplay as most cities took about 30 seconds to destroy.

[–]prezuiwf 0 points1 point ago

This was the perfect rental game too, because it was so repetitive you would be sick of it after 3 days and want to return it. Then a week or two later, you play it for 3 days all over again. Rinse, repeat.

[–]Scipio33 0 points1 point ago

Probably my best Blockbuster game rental was Kingdom Hearts. I was way into Nightmare Before Christmas at the time, and Jack Skelington was featured right on the back of the case. I eventually bought the game and it sequel and played the crap out of both of them. I'm still pissed that a true continuation of the series hasn't been released yet. The hope that it would release on the PS3 is pretty much the only reason that I bought one other than its blue-ray capability.

[–]Magnum86 0 points1 point ago

I rented Road Rash for the Sega Genesis in Drain, Oregon for several years of my young life.

[–]trevor_the_redditor 0 points1 point ago

...my hero.

[–]ukstubbs 0 points1 point ago

had this in the midway arcade treasures on xbox

[–]KidsNeedaHero 0 points1 point ago

When I was younger my dad let me buy a game one day. The choice came down to this and Super Smash Bros. I chose Rampage. I'm still not sure if I made the correct choice or not.

[–]l00b0 0 points1 point ago

yupp

[–]alwaysredeyed 0 points1 point ago

When my best friend and I were 10 or 11 I bought that game and brought it over to his house after school one day. We sat in front of the TV and played it until we beat it, one of the funnest days of gaming in my life

[–]Dimestoresaint 0 points1 point ago

Blast corps was my most rented. Anyone remember that game? It was awesome. I want them to make another one. Would be an easy downloadable game to make. So much fun. I eventually bought it- still have it. Basically for people who don't know a truck is on the loose with a nuclear bomb on the back, You play as robots, trains, trucks, bulldozers, sports cars, and you have to drive around and get into different vehicles and use them to destroy buildings to clear a path for the nuke if it hits something it explodes and you lose

[–]americafreak70 0 points1 point ago

I pretty much teared seeing that I wasn't the only one who enjoyed this game so much, upvote to you!

[–]alienelement 1 point2 points ago

That game was awful ... ly fun!

[–]Schwinn3 0 points1 point ago

Used to play this game on my cousin's N64 all the time! Loved it!

[–]Schwinn3 0 points1 point ago

Used to play this game on my cousin's N64 all the time! Loved it!

[–]PenisFlyTrap 0 points1 point ago

Timesplitters 2 for me.

[–]Suddenly_Something 0 points1 point ago

Did anyone else ever play This game? I've never seen anyone mention this game.

[–]sexy_panda 0 points1 point ago

Best fucking game ever as a kid, my dad had to keep telling me to stop cursing so much as I was playing that game

[–]dailybean2012 0 points1 point ago

Ah the good old days of Blockbuster rentals.

I remember when my friend and I rented Ogre Battle for SNES. Asshole puts in some sort of cheat code to power level your characters and fight the last battle. All in all we technically beat the game in about 15 minutes. My mom would limit my game rentals to 2 a month if I kept my grades up. I was never so pissed off before during my childhood since I felt like I wasted one of my rentals.

P.S. My most rented game was this

[–]EnvyUK 0 points1 point ago

Rented? I bought Universal Tour.

[–]petey1gwc 0 points1 point ago

my fingers hurt just remembering that game

[–]HankMcCoy7410 0 points1 point ago

I remember this game! I really, really wanted it. But dad made me buy a racing game instead. I never got to play it. :(

[–]Llawdrin 0 points1 point ago

Best fucking game ever! All you do is destroy shit, and beat the crap out of your partner if they try to get the purple shit before you!

So many awesome memories. :)

[–]Murry33 0 points1 point ago

This was mine as well, and actually what I expected to see on the other post, lmao.

[–]Pegasistah 0 points1 point ago

HO-LY SHIT. I fucking loved that game as a kid. I remember one time when I was about 8, my dad and I sat down in front of the T.V and played that gave for 10 hours straight. I wanted to get to the last level because that game went on forever. We finally got to the last level; the moon. There were astronauts, mutants, aliens, rovers, and who knows what else. I was always Lizzie because I hate monkeys and loved lizards. We beat the last stage and there was this odd feeling I relief that we finished a game, but a sad pang that the bonding time between us was coming to an end. I think part of our semi-regular gaming marathon is why I'm going to study graphic design and animation. I think I'm going to go ask my dad if he wants to do that again sometime...

[–]Tulos 0 points1 point ago

Fuck you, this belongs as a reply in the original thread.

[–]N00biestTube 0 points1 point ago

I own the NES Rampage hipster.jpg

[–]BreatheRhetoric 0 points1 point ago

no save!

[–]MetalManic 0 points1 point ago

NES version > N64 version

[–]johnnylongjohn 0 points1 point ago

literealllyyy the greatest game

[–]Sklanskers 0 points1 point ago

Just have to say this game was THE SHIT on the Sega Master System. Fuck I want a Sega Master System again..

[–]Poojawa 1 point2 points ago

I never got to rent this game.

I saw it once available, grabbed it with my childhood friend, we both were excited.

Counted out my quarters, dimes, nickles. Oh no...

Four dollars short, even with my parent's card's discount.

Clerk said he'll hold it, we dash home, running full tilt four blocks, we were gunna get that game in less than thirty minuets at most!

Dive into the penny jar, carefully getting whatever short cuts with spare dimes and nickles... and soon we had enough. Run back to the blockbuster!

Politely wait for our turn in the line, ask for our game.

"Oh, I'm sorry. The lady just behind you when you left demanded the game when her son started making a fit about it. There wasn't anything I could do."

Heartbreak, slowly walk out of the store empty handed.

Never saw the game for rent ever again.

[–]NaviJ95 0 points1 point ago

starfox 64

[–]shockfyre 0 points1 point ago

I rented that shit all the time. In fact, I loved it so much... I bought the game.

[–]terminal_velocity 0 points1 point ago

holy sit i remember that game!

[–]Kennykoo 0 points1 point ago

My childhood....

[–]tacoexcorsist 0 points1 point ago

Ah a classic! :)

[–]rabbidgranny 0 points1 point ago

i have this game, It's pretty retarded lol its fun too though. Never play it at all though :( I wonder what its worth!

EDIT: I realized this is the Nintendo 64 version, I have the Playstation 1 Edition lol

[–]omnom_chompsky 0 points1 point ago

My friend and I used to take turns renting the only copy of Orcarina of Time from the local video rental shop. We didn't want anyone else playing over our save files, so we would alert the other before we returned it, or sometimes even go in together, so the other person could rent it immediately as we turned it in.

This went on for weeks, until we had both beaten it. We went in together for the last return, and the look on the cashiers face when we both left without it.

[–]KinRiso 0 points1 point ago

I didn't have a blockbuster anywhere near my hometown as a kid, but this was easily my #1 rented game from the local grocery store.

[–]saco113 0 points1 point ago

omg ive been trying to remember what the game was called when i planed it i was like 4 thx for posting ive been doing a lot of research to find it and the answer came out of the blue

[–]theLegokiller00 0 points1 point ago

I bought a used playstation one version and played all damn day. Best game ever. Really cheap on amazon.com

[–]Wolfgang_00 0 points1 point ago

Did everyone make it up to the moon in this game?

[–]FallenOne69 0 points1 point ago

Annddd its now the most downloaded N64 game in history..

Fuck I feel old.

[–]leex0 0 points1 point ago

I never owned an N64 and i don't think i ever actually played this game, but somehow seeing it just immediately brings back memories of going to blockbuster and stuff and renting awesome games...

[–]doozer0 0 points1 point ago

I rented this game a few times as well simply because it's not a good enough game to own. It's fun, but not worth buying.

[–]WetCottonCandy 0 points1 point ago

I had that game for my gameboy.

[–]TheFluxIsThis 0 points1 point ago

Super Mario RPG, man. Beat that game like....3 times on rental from the same place.

[–]andrewg14ak 0 points1 point ago

Worms Armageddon for N64 was the one I rented all the time when I was about 6.

[–]amedeus 0 points1 point ago

I rented this a few times. But Banjo-Kazooie still takes the win for my record.

What do you know about general chaos for genesis.

A memorable rental for me: http://www.legendra.com/media/screenshots/n64/mystical_ninja_starring_goemon/mystical_ninja_starring_goemon_screen_9.jpg

Not so memorable: http://image.gamespotcdn.net/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/6/198386_13559_front.jpg

^ Also known as quest 64. Sniff. it made me cry tears of dissapointment....because I actually fnished it.

[–]nevirus 0 points1 point ago

God. I can remember playing this game over and over with my cousin. Such good memories..

[–]DJRaDJ 0 points1 point ago

Jet Force Gemini.

One of the most underrated games ever.

[–]pencilbagger 0 points1 point ago

My local video store had a 3 for $3 for 3 days deal when I was a kid, I always rented these 3: http://imgur.com/a/YFdzm

I still have this and my NES it is still to this day one of my favorite games. http://www.retrocpu.com/nes/images/games/r/rampage.cover.front.jpg

[–]pjotr_fomitsch_kalga 0 points1 point ago

Mine was Mortal Kombat since I wasn´t alowed to buy it because it is so brutal, but renting was alright.

Parental logic at its best

[–]gevo223 0 points1 point ago

I remember playing this game without a controller pack with my brother we spent hours getting to Day ~200 and my nintendo just froze. Was kind of depressing. :(

[–]lYossarian 0 points1 point ago

I don't know why we all have to link to pictures... mine was SAN FRANCISO RUSH!

[–]jellydoughnuts4me 0 points1 point ago

Holy shit, man. Talk about a nostalgia trip! I used to rent this every week and when the rental time was up, I'd rent this fucker again. Nothing better than smashing shit up and eating people.

[–]naruo7 0 points1 point ago

I just bought my games for a cheap place

[–]erraticmonkey1 0 points1 point ago

The arcade version of this was way better.

[–]wtfcblog 0 points1 point ago

This was my most rented game during my childhood. I rented it a grand total of 3 times before I finally got it for my birthday one year just as the N64 was coming out.

[–]SnowFire 0 points1 point ago

I used to play the shit out of the Rampage machine at my local arcade back in the day. That and another game called Xenophobe.

[–]YaranakuchaNe 0 points1 point ago

Midway Arcade Treasuries 2 for GameCube. Since I got my Xbox 360 shortly after its release, I have used my GameCube more than my Xbox. (SSBM, MAT2, Tales of Symphonia, Time Splitters 2/3, the old days Nintendo ftw etc. etc.

[–]Skid_Markie 0 points1 point ago

Was the original Rampage on the NES beatable? I remember spending hours with my brother beating every state, only to have it start all over after conquering them all.

[–]perfect_disguise 0 points1 point ago

rampage was the first game I ever played through the night, and I was in elementary school. shit was so cash playing with my best friend, his brother, and a couple other friends.

[–]Ragna_The_Blood_Edge 0 points1 point ago

It was so good that I ended up buying it

[–]jfbalkcom 0 points1 point ago

I could have bought 10 copies of this game with the money I made my mom pay to rent it every week!

[–]hachirusto 0 points1 point ago

I use to rent the original one on sets master system all the time because the only game I actually owned was Alex the kid which was in built to the console
