Not everybody has heard that joke. Instead of bitching, they could just move along. Do they go to bars and yell "HEARD IT!!" when somebody is telling a joke they heard to another person?
Exactly. But no one will sit with rapt attention when someone starts their joke with "why did the chicken cross the road?"
