    • Original source is allowed and preferred over the approved hosts. Please designate your original source with the tag [OS] in order to prevent mixups.
    • If you took the photo yourself, you can signify this by using the tag [OC] (original content) and after 24 hours you will be given special flair. If you don't receive flair after a few days feel free to message the mods.

When creating it, do you design it as drawers one can stand on, or steps one can store things in?

I would think designing the steps first would be the better choice, as their structural integrity should outweigh the drawers' convenience.

A good designer would merge the two seamlessly - it's certainly possible to have a perfectly structural staircase and completely functioning drawers and cabinets under it like this. You just need to take your needs into consideration and design accordingly.
