I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but I don't believe in terminating a pregnancy just because the baby has a genetic disorder. If the child is going to be a near vegetable with no capacity for self awareness or cognitive functioning, or be constantly physically sick and in pain, that's a different story; but I've worked with several DS kids who lead happy lives and it's a joy to be around them. I see nothing ignorant about that and I don't think it has anything to do with religion.
