Gangnam is a district of Seoul.

Oppa (not oppan) means big brother, but I think it's also used as a term of affection from a girl to a guy. My Korean is terrible though, so I wouldn't trust that.

Korean here. Oppa is slang for big brother, similar to oniichan for you otaku.

In the song it's "oppan", which makes it possessive. Basically think of it as saying "oppa's Gangnam style".

My korean friend explained to me that Gangnam is like the New York of Korea, and he told me that it is indeed "Oppan" as opposed to "Oppa."
