Why did you put all the text in the title? It just made it an anticlimax.

[–]Rokosnocone 8 points9 points ago

He didn't put all the text in the title. He forgot to put the word "sort." Good thing too, this way I had NO idea what to expect from the picture.

[–]TBS96 6 points7 points ago

What else would he call it?

Dog?

[–]Derplar 11 points12 points ago

[–]snailwithmonocle 7 points8 points ago

[–]forever-alone-21 5 points6 points ago

Oh You Think You're Smarter Dawg

[–]huskyfry 35 points36 points ago

DUBS!!! So proud my school has the coolest/cutest mascot ever. Go Washington!

[–]hipstahs 9 points10 points ago

Dubs is such a great dog too! Except when he tried to eat my sandwich in red square...

[–]kentuckyfriedfish 0 points1 point ago

Dammit I've been going there a whole year and I've never seen this stupid dog. I feel left out. I even worked the graduation ceremony this year. He must've been at the beginning while I still marshalling my forces in the ticket office. Does he ever come out for Dawg Daze or anything like that? Or is it just Graduation only?

[–]hipstahs 0 points1 point ago

He is around dude. He walks through campus all the time with his handlers. He is at every football game too.

[–]kentuckyfriedfish 0 points1 point ago

Oh that'd explain why. I don't do football games.

[–]Foxhound199 10 points11 points ago

Fun fact: The Washington Huskies mascot is a malamute.

[–]MadameDoopusPoopus[!] 4 points5 points ago

Mainly because huskies are generally temperamental and fussy which makes them difficult to train, and malamutes are just majestic, friendly bears. Dubs is one of the greatest dogs ever.

[–]hipstahs 6 points7 points ago

Go DAWGS!

[–]kentuckyfriedfish 0 points1 point ago

Came here to see if it was my school, apparently it is. What year/department are you?

[–]sparx483 34 points35 points ago

College was ruff but he made it through.

[–]projectfigment 9 points10 points ago

He had to admit though, there are parts of college life that can be pretty bitchin'.

[–]Gorillaz_Noodle 14 points15 points ago

Dog.

[–]eritska 12 points13 points ago

This is exactly how I felt when I graduated college with a subpar GPA.

[–]Szalkow 3 points4 points ago

This is how almost every college graduate feels, regardless of GPA or job offer.

[–]willatwork 4 points5 points ago

This is how I feel four years into the workforce.

[–]stockholm__syndrome 27 points28 points ago

Why are there no comments? Fine. The dog is adorable.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points ago

Oh hey, my alma mater!

[–]Scottipottimus 3 points4 points ago

No he doesn't, the tassel should hang on his left.

[–]Polaris06 6 points7 points ago

Yes yessssss, let them make the UW meme. Then everyone will know our superiority. Muahaha.

[–]ForkThePork 1 point2 points ago

Yep. This was me when I graduated, no doubt.

[–]Osvalt 2 points3 points ago

Around 650 votes and 10 comments? Yep, that's summer break.

[–]nwcubsfan 2 points3 points ago

Sundodger would be proud.

[–]REEDnSTUFF 1 point2 points ago

Thanks for putting the punch line in the title OP! You're the best!

[–]highschoolblows 1 point2 points ago

[–]cottsb 0 points1 point ago

He'll be back to the lab bench totally confused soon enough

[–]Revanx17 0 points1 point ago

For those that have neither the creativity nor the brain power to think of a title, Just type what the picture says.

[–]SeanDog123 0 points1 point ago

That is probably the case for all dogs in any situation.

[–]Traejen 0 points1 point ago

An engineer! Good dog.

[–]noiplah 0 points1 point ago

Why is the "Of" capitalised? Blargh!

[–]Noreaga 0 points1 point ago

"I still have no idea what I'm doing"

[–]Turtleman093 0 points1 point ago

Dat punch line in the title

[–]evan331212 0 points1 point ago

Actually after graduation I absolutely did not have any idea what I was doing!

[–]madison2013 0 points1 point ago

This is like graduates whose parents put them through college and they coasted through doing next to nothing!

[–]spongeBond 0 points1 point ago

[–]kentuckyfriedfish 0 points1 point ago

I am so glad my idiot twelve-year-old self didn't spend very long on the mascot issue. For a brief moment in seventh grade, I had this instant where I thought "I like cats better, let's look at that Wazu school I keep hearing about." Pretty sure UW is the best school in the state, public or private. I mean I've heard good things about Western, but also that you have to be pretty wealthy to afford it. And what college student has money?

[–]pchqueiou 0 points1 point ago

this is perfect. so clever.

[–]ninfan200 -2 points-1 points ago

Mfw i graduated last year

[–]McDickButt -2 points-1 points ago

Get ready for the excitement of realizing your degree is worthless, flooded in a market with millions of other degrees, and that your college lifestyle is going to look a lot better than real life in coming years, being crushed by either rent or a mortgage, student loan debt, and all sorts of other payments to rob you of every cent you make.

Unless you're rich or connected, then you're golden.

[–]MadKat88 -3 points-2 points ago

Ahhh College.. You can read books about a subject as much as you like, but nothing replaces hands on experience. All the people I know who went straight to college after high school are working at mickey d`s or payless and cursing themselves for their useless degrees. Know a gal who got a 4 year in visual arts but her portfolio is garbage and as such is working retail. Meanwhile I get to laugh at them and I have a ton of experience and references as well as an awesome portfolio. /rant

[–]kentuckyfriedfish 0 points1 point ago

Yes but no one will even let you near them without a degree to get the experience. Which is a bit sad really, in earlier decades you could more or less pick up any trade and stay with it if you were good enough. My grandma took a single secretarial science class in high school and easily got a secretary gig. Nowadays that's at least a year of experience (and who's going to voluntarily give you the experience you need without any beforehand) or an administrative certificate at least.
