I tried rolling my first one the other day. I watched MastahRolla's video where he uses a card and stuff, but I still can't do it nearly as easily as he can. Papers feel like they're tiny to me, but then again I'm tall and my hands are large. Either way, my first joint I rolled was not very good. I'll post pics later.

I would always recommend showing a newbie how to use a roller. Once they have the concept down of what the roller does, its easy to roll with your hands.

Also, practice makes perfect, and we all sucked at doing it at one point or the other. I'm still trying to teach my mother.

I suggest getting a bunch of friends together, and getting a cheap oz. Then go buy a few packs of papers and roll away. Destroy the crappy ones, and smoke the good ones.

edit: also use a dollar afterwords to tighten it up if it is a bit loose.

Also who says you have to be a noob if you can't roll. I've been smoking for a long ass time, and I've rolled maybe 10 j's in my life. I never do it alone, and my friends are always more keen to roll than I so I essentially never have had the chance to learn. Plus I'm too cheap to roll em on my own anway, and I got German sausage fingers.
