August 15, 2012 - We are currently working on an FAQ and a new layout, please be patient.

Moderation Policy:

• Please don't post offensive and nsfw images and posts to r/islam.

• Please also do not make troll posts that serve no purpose other than to insult or provoke. You are welcome to post dissenting viewpoints, but you are not welcome to abuse others in this subreddit.

• Feel free to resubmit links of interesting content from other subreddits, but do not cross-link to this subreddit in order to create an upvote or downvote campaign in violation of reddiquette.

• Please do not cross-post content from this subreddit into other subreddits as well. Fair is fair. Abusive posters that violate these rules will be issued a warning for a first offense and permanently banned for a second offense.

• Due to previous abuse of readers in r/Islam by a few determined trolls, those relatively new accounts that do little more than repeatedly troll /r/Islam are subject to banning and/or removal of any and all submissions and comments. We understand there are valid uses for throwaway accounts such as privacy, so if your throwaway account is moderated without cause, please message the moderators and we will take any appropriate action.

• Users, depending upon the situation, will be administered a warning, and then a ban for a repeat offense, if these rules are violated.
