I feel like everytime I watch this I see some crazy shape come at one of the contestants and everybody else just essentially stands there.

Contestant number 1: turn to the side Contestant number 2: squat down a little Contestant number 3: jump 6 feet in the air and transform into a triangle the size of this dime....

Here's why the Japanese version is funnier. In Japan it's 95 F degreee hot water that basically boils the contestant.
