It was very good. What I noticed about both of these films is the stunning water animation. (PoE is when baby Moses is floating in the basket. R2ED is when Miguel and Tulio jump off the Spanish ship with the horse) for some reason, the water detail struck me as exceptional for when both films were made.

They actually made a special program when making this movie. In it, they hand-animated a small portion of the water but then used said program to replicate and distort it in numerous ways. I agree, the end results were stunning!

That's the thing with DreamWorks movies though -- at least with the animated ones, they use mostly celebrities to do the voice-over acting. I always figured it was to draw in more audiences, but I can't base that on any real evidence.

Besides, the cast for 'The Prince of Egypt' kind of stands out, only because some of those actors are fucking brilliant. I've never actually seen the movie, but I owned the soundtrack when I was younger and it was something I particularly loved.

I haven't seen it in years but my kids were asking for a new movie and I recalled it was pretty good. Put it on for them a few weeks ago and now they ask for it every day. It instantly became their favorite movie. I really really wish so hard that dreamworks would make more, they decided not to when it wasn't such a big hit, but I honestly believe the movie was just ahead for it's times. I'm not a fan of dreamworks movies normally, but The Road to El Dorado really is just a wonderful movie.

I watched this movie at least 15 times as a kid and wrote a spin off (like fricking 25 pages, thats a lot when you´re 7 years old) with illustrations and shit , and I forgot all about it. Torrenting it ASAP.

I broke 5-6 e strings when I started. Tuning took me 20-30 minutes each time :|. Now I just use a Korg tuner.
