Even though we only share a common ancestor, it's really amazing to see how human-like they are. It's also amazing to me that many people are incredulous when they learn about proto-humans doing things like caring for their elderly or monkeys having a sense of "fairness" and empathy. These are things that many social species share- it's remarkable that we'd be so arrogant to think that it somehow started with us, or that we are the only creatures to possess such qualities.
