Basically it fires shells capable of a preset amount of devastation on a planet. So it can be set to a few kilometers or to raze a whole planet.

I was a bit lost as to why this was a reply to me, then I realized what you were referring to.

Just to clarify, I'd never seen the picture in the OP posted before, and I knew of the GIF I posted because I'm a fan of Top Gear and see the GIF every now and then and thought it fit along with the OP quite well.

I understand why you're doing what you're doing, but just move on. We all hate reposts, but with the millions of users Reddit supports, not everyone is going to always see the same post, and it's inevitable that you're going to have similar comments in similar threads. 'Alerting' people of a repost/comment repost is just silly.

Obi Wan gives zero fucks about wether the offspring of the second most evil man in universe kills himself by being stupid. Plus killing Luke and Leia probably not a bad idea considering that training a 9 year old Aniken against their teaching eventually brought down a 1000 year republic. So training moody teenager Luke maybe not a great long run decision.

I dunno. I mean, the empire seemed pretty heavily modeled on the Nazis, and they were pretty quick about things. They didn't win, but 2 decades seems a reasonable time-frame to be in-control but still fighting a resistance.

Nazis? They felt more like the Romans. Palpy took over during a time of war, never gave power back, turned the Republic into an Empire. Sounds very much like them.

No, see, the Empire already had almost total control over all the planets. Palpatine simply turned the Republic into an Empire. All the Senators, save a few, were completely in favor of this, and the war had already been pretty much won, so all of the CIS planets were also under their control.
