How does something get to the front page? Upvotes right? How does something stay off the front page? Downvotes right? People usually downvote when they don't like something and upvote when they like it. So if it is on the front page and has more upvotes than downvotes, what does that tell you? I'm not a rocket veterinarian or anything but I can easily tell that, that means the majority of the subreddit likes that post. We have a public moderating system consisting of a board made up of redditors and when something gets posted we all take a vote and when the majority vote approves, the item makes it to the front page and when the majority vote disapproves, it doesn't make it to the front page. If the majority of the subreddit likes the thing that OP posted then maybe the "bio" of /r/gaming needs to be changed. Maybe the problem is that the statement that "pastanat" copy and pasted needs to be put under Submission Rules or Posting Rules instead of its current area so that people will know not to post it. Again I'm not a rocket gynecologist, but from what I can tell the moderators are just here to keep out the spammers and keep out the posts of illegal and straight up stupid shit.
