When did the definition of swag change? It used to mean the free shitty crap you get from a radio station promo or the like. (tickets to a concert that wasn't selling, free tshirts, can coozeys etc).
"I went to the grocery store and Frito Lay was giving out cheetos swag"

What is the word now for that shit now that 'swag' has been co-opted?

Most pigs don't get to have fun before they're killed. They are raised in pens that are large enough for them to stand up and eat. The entire enterprise of growing meat is built to make the most profit possible, which means that the animals need to stay alive long enough to become big enough to be able to sell at a profit. The meat industry externalizes as much of its costs as possible on the animals themselves. Why give them enough room to move around and get some exercise if they won't die if I don't do that? Why give them access to workers who are skilled at taking care of animals if it costs me more and hiring less skilled workers doesn't negatively impact the bottom line?

A lot of this stuff is annoying to hear because it's awful to think about, but I am not making comments because I am arrogant or sadistic, these things are just important to me.

Yup, that's the point I was trying to make with a bit of sarcasm.

I used to eat bacon, I get that it's delicious. People don't have to become vegetarians - there are other solutions, like reducing the amount of meat they eat and buying from farms that treat their animals well. Or at least talking about the issue even if there's disagreement.

Edit: For example, Chipotle claims to use humanely raised animals. So when eating out, people could consider places like this.

This belongs in WTF. First why would you use the word swag at all, let alone with the word bacon and then make it your motto. Here is a motto. I have bacon I need nothing else! or I have mouth full of bacon what the fuck is a motto!
