Clearly understanding the material to the point of pulling a 98% on the midterm, with the class average @ 70%? I learn better at my own pace, I wouldn't benefit from going... thus the lectures have no real value for me. Redundancy is not an advantage, IMO. Also, senioritis.

I'm the same way, lectures don't really do shit for me and I do 80% of my learning while studying, but I kinda agree with vato. College isn't just about understanding the material and getting good grades.

my college did the same thing...but didn't matter what grade you got if you didn't show up...I'd put some money down that you're still going to fail if you don't go
