Not really since the history of civilized humans is pretty well recorded, you can read about it at your local library. Civilization doesn't mean the same as life on earth. The end however is something nobody can know so that would be the obvious choice.

It is a tough question, and I think that if you could see how civilization ended, you would want to warn everyone, and everyone would think that you're crazy. When you die, you will have passed on no information about how civilization ends. If you found out how civilization begins, and I'm sorry if I offend you, you could further prove evolution.

I'm never going to get over the fact that some people have to worry they might offend people by implying that evolution is real. The internet has taught me some weird things, but none is harder to get my head around than that.

I really just threw that in so that there wasn't some random fundie jumping down my throat

But I think the opposite would also hold true. If you somehow found out the way civilization began, and it was a new idea that hasn't been hypothesized before, you may get a similar reaction.

You're correct, but it's likely that evolution is the reason for civilization, as science has pretty much proven it.

don't be sorry about offending someone who doesn't believe in evolution. it's their problem and if they're offended, so what? nothing happens. you don't wake up the next day with lupus!

I'm not even sure if that's interesting enough to be mildly-interesting.

I'd rather see what started civilization, but I know that seeing what ended civilization would be more useful to humanity.

I don't even get the question. What 'started' civilization? Which civilization? There have been thousands. And what do you decide as a 'civilization'? When monkeys started work in tribes or when we started building the first tents?

Monkey orgy or zombie apocalypse....iono, both would be funny to watch.

Are we talking start of the universe, or just civilization?

Just civilization

Obviously what started it. Civilisation has ended many times, and it's always war.
